Things become strained between Cain and Moira, and when left home alone with Holly, Cain seizes the chance to tell her that if she is planning on killing herself, she'd better do it elsewhere. Meanwhile, Bernice and Chas realise they've been duped when Gabby and Liv post videos of themselves trashing Gordon's place online, and Dan, Jimmy and Ashley end up frightening Arthur as they settle down together to watch a horror film

Liv comes up with a plan to get at Robert, enlisting Ryan's help to set him up. However, when the Sugden lad offers her his support during Gordon's funeral, Liv realises she may have made a terrible mistake. Cain ignores Adam's threats after walking out on Moira, but is given food for thought by another neighbour, who makes it clear Holly's blood may well end up on his hands. Elsewhere, Ashley and Laurel become concerned when Arthur seems terrified of the pirate ship

Belle cancels her plans with Lachlan for a more intimate encounter with Bailey, who invites her back to his house while his wife is away. Back at the village, Lachlan tells Cain that Belle called off their date because she's unwell, causing her half-brother to suspect she might be back together with her married man. Meanwhile, Pierce turns on the charm over dinner with Marlon, Rhona and April, but Vanessa is unhappy with his presence

Belle finds herself begging with a hurt Lachlan after he takes the offensive, claiming that he'll tell Dr Bailey's wife about the affair unless she agrees to come with him to Home Farm. Does he have a plan in mind that requires Belle to be away from the village? Meanwhile, Marlon looks set to interrupt a stolen romantic moment between Rhona and Pierce, and when Liv disappears, Robert sets out to track her down before Aaron finds out she's gone

Lachlan reluctantly sends the photographs of Belle with Dr Bailey to Cain, but when asked about what he plans to do with them, Cain suggests the less he knows about it, the better. Meanwhile, Chas asks DS Wise out on a date, and Jacob is alarmed to learn David's white blood cell count is down

The Dingles are in turmoil over the news about Belle, and while Lisa lashes out at Zak, claiming his daughter was clearly seeking a decent father-figure in Bailey, the good doctor's scorned wife turns up at the factory seeking a confrontation with her younger rival. Meanwhile, a box of old photographs threatens to ruin Chas's date with DS Wise, and Jacob worries about David's health when he spends time with Amba - who is full of cold

Jacob worries that David is not looking after himself well enough, and resorts to shock tactics to make him see sense. Tracy tries to console David, but he pushes her away as his hair begins to fall out. Charity tries to comfort a drunken and distraught Chas, Zak, Lisa and Belle try to persuade Angie not to involve the police, and Rhona and Vanessa put their disagreements behind them

James excitedly makes plans for the future while driving through the country, only to end up knocking Chas down. He takes her to hospital, where she confesses to a nurse that she thinks she might be pregnant - which would mean Gordon is the father. Meanwhile, Emma becomes suspicious when she hears James and Chas have been seen together. Jacob makes a grand gesture to make David feel better

Emma plays up her faked illness to find out what has really been going on between Chas and James, but it may lead to her lies being exposed when he pays a visit to Dr Bailey. Lawrence and Ronnie remember old times and seem to be on the verge of making peace, and David finds his new appearance hard to live with

Finn, Pete and Ross turn their backs on Emma after discovering her lies. As she leaves their home, she runs into a clearly distressed Chas, who fears she has trashed the pub during a PTSD episode. Emma feels compelled to help, and takes her to a mental health clinic. Zak and Lisa's divorce is finalised, and Bernice is furious when she discovers the truth about Lawrence's past with Ronnie, and demands to know why he married her

An enraged Bernice drowns her sorrows, but when she is given the keys to Lawrence's digger, she sees the perfect opportunity to carry out a spectacular revenge on her husband. Moira urges Cain to be more supportive of Holly, but he is not convinced her new job is a good idea. Lachlan warns Belle that Bailey will never leave his wife for her, and Charity double-books two very different parties at the pub

Bernice confides in Andy. Moira tries to hide her fears over Holly. Tracy offers to help Belle.

Holly is trusted with babysitting Kyle while Moira and Cain go to the gig, but she cannot resist the desire to take heroin - which leads to her locking herself out of the house. Amelia and April help Arthur to investigate the ghosts he claims to have heard and discover a far more mundane explanation. Belle tries to make things up to her mother with a meal out, only to find themselves sharing a restaurant with Dr Bailey and his wife

Lachlan breaks into Dr Bailey's house in the hope of finding proof that he does not intend to leave his wife. Belle realises what he is up to and also breaks in to find he has trashed the place. When the Baileys return home unexpectedly, Lachlan makes his escape and Belle is caught red-handed. Holly fears having to take a drugs test, and Marlon has had enough of Pierce hanging around Rhona and Leo

Belle flees from Dr Bailey's house, and angrily confronts Lachlan for interfering - but he responds by confessing his love for her. Belle returns home, and is forced to tell Lisa the truth about her relationship with the doctor before she is arrested for the break-in. Marlon is tempted to slip something into Pierce's meal, and Ashley finds out that Laurel arranged to have him constantly looked after

Angie becomes suspicious when she sees her husband talking to Lachlan, and decides to pay the Dingles a visit to discover what is really going on. Cain returns home with blood on his hands, leaving Belle convinced he has done something terrible for her sake. Marlon's actions leave the pub facing possible legal action, Ashley feels that his friends have betrayed him, and Tracy struggles to pay the rent

Dr Bailey wakes up in hospital to find that both Angie and Dr Cavanagh know about his affair with Belle, leaving his career and marriage in ruins. He tells Belle that they are finished, and she blames Lachlan and Cain for driving them apart. Simon tries to persuade Holly to help him use Victoria's van for selling drugs, and Pete refuses to be swayed from his intention to move out

The police turn up unannounced at the farm. Cain tries to get rid of his bloodstained shirt, while Holly hides the stash of drugs that Simon gave her from both the cops and Moira. However, she realises later that she has lost them altogether, and may face terrible consequences. Charity tries to come up with a way to keep Belle away from Dr Bailey, while Finn tries to drum up business for the taxi firm

Holly comes under pressure to pay back the money she owes to Simon. As her day rapidly goes from band to worse, she sees a way to resolve the problem by betraying a friend. Finn is down when a booking falls through, so Ross tries to put things right by devious means. Charity tries to persuade Belle to change her story, and Rakesh finds himself short of money

Simon comes looking for his money, and Holly offers to give him the chance to rob the van - but her plan puts Victoria in danger when she goes back for the cash box. Harriet has a hard time getting the minibus to start, Vanessa is shocked by what she sees in Rakesh's financial records, leaving him worried she will report him to the police. Nicola complains to Jimmy that their house is too small

Victoria and Jai fight off Simon when he tries to steal from the van, and Holly fears the truth about her part in the robbery will be exposed. Pete is outraged at Ross' underhand tactics, but proves equally willing to use dishonest means to get back on Harriet's good side. Rakesh discovers there is a serious problem with the mill, and fears that Vanessa will get in the way of his plans

Rakesh rejects Ronnie's pleas to tell Emma and James the truth about the Mill. When all his efforts to cover his losses fail, he contemplates setting the Mill on fire to claim the insurance. Holly falls asleep at the wheel while trying to drive after using heroin, Jimmy finds himself under pressure to perform, and Bernice forgets her loneliness by spending time with Andy - until Chrissie gets in the way

Rakesh gives himself an alibi at David's shop so he can sneak off and vandalise his own property, then burn Mill Cottage to the ground. However, he does not realise that Nicola has returned to retrieve her bag of sex toys. Ronnie is worried when he sees Priya making plans, and realises she does not know about the dry rot. Lawrence rejects a warning from Ronnie, telling him he wishes he was dead, then returns to Home Farm hoping to make amends with Bernice and convince her that he is not gay

Rakesh is racked with guilt when he discovers people have been seriously hurt as a result of his actions - but is relieved to discover he has got away with it, and sets about putting the next stage of his plan into action. Nicola is discharged from hospital, but her injuries may be more serious than they appear. Lawrence apologises to Ronnie, raising Andy's suspicions about them, and David comes to a realisation in the wake of the fire

Nicola comes round after an operation to find she can no longer move her right arm or leg. Laurel leaves Ashley alone with the children while she goes to work to see whether he can cope. The day seems to go well, until Ashley finds himself faced with an open front door and no sign of Angelica. Jimmy accuses Rakesh of negligence and Gabby tries to make Jacob buy her alcohol
