I've been following The Viral Fever (TVF) since last one year. I have watched all and rewatched many of their videos and eagerly wait for new content every week.
Recently they announced their first TVF originals drama feature, "Permanent Roommates", and I was hooked by the name itself.
The promo looked good too.

The show starts off well, with Mikesh who comes back to India and proposes to his long distance girlfriend Tanya for marriage. This begins their emotional journey that even threatens their relationship at one point in the show.
This show does well in all areas of creativity and execution and one can't help but fall in love with the lead actors, and relate to their emotional journey. Especially the adorable simpleton Mikesh who also, along with supporting actors (especially Pathik and Purshottam) fill up this emotional journey with well timed humor that makes this show a delight to watch. Moreover this show is about Mikesh and Tanya and their relationship, no unnecessary hurdles by parents, caste, religion, society or similar sources.

While the length of the episodes range from 14 minutes (first episode) to 38 minutes (final episode), I'm glad they didn't restrict themselves to have uniform length episodes which may have forced them to compromise on the quality.

Did you notice the two rings interlocked into each other in the word "room" in the title?! That's pretty cool !! The opening sequence of this show is also quite good !!

There are just too many emotional and well timed comic moments that it would be unfair to talk about them here. Moreover, the proof of the pudding is in the eating, and this pudding is an absolute delicacy. I am no authority in show business, but being a lifelong ardent viewer of sitcoms and romcoms, I can vouch for Permanent Roommates as one such show you can re-watch and experience the same delight and warmness.

Strong points: The lead actors, the supporting actors, the direction, the script, the comic timing, the music, and leaving me wanting for more.
Weak points: Only 5 episodes!
Best moment: The video Nikesh makes for Tanya's birthday. There are many more though.

It does leave few questions in audience's mind, like will Mikesh and Tanya get married, and who is Tiwari?!

While I wish this show had come earlier, this is the best time for the inception of such a wonderful show, since TVF now has nearly a million followers on youtube, and such wonderful shows that they've promised to continue making in future, deserve large audience.

After watching Permanent Roommates, I am fully confident that TVF, who have given us top quality humor in the past, are well on their way to excel in other genres as well.

P.S. - Ended up watching all the 5 episodes again while writing this review. :) :)

A short, sweet& awesome treat!
This series is a happy break from the clichéd stuff. It depicts the modern society, broad-minded and reasonable people, within a simple story line. Basically, its easier to relate to this with the things happening around you. This show will make you think, but first, it will make you laugh. There isn't a dull moment. Moreover, its a punch packed in five short videos. What makes it better is awesome acting by each and everyone. Also, its easily available on YouTube. So here I have what I have been waiting for - Indian actors, Hindi language (has English subs too), a short and fast-paced series, and I ain't disappointed at all!!! I would totally recommend it. And I will be eagerly waiting for another series by this super team.

Very very cool.
After amazing us with their comedy sketches, TVF came up with another brilliant show - Permanent Roommates.
The two leads Tanya (played by Nidhi Singh) and Mikesh (played by Sumeet Vyas) are poles apart and yet when you put them together in a room, you'll see how they brighten each other up.
It may sound like it's an 'opposites attract' story, but you'll get so much more than you can ever expect. The charming and responsible Tanya keeps the show grounded; Mikesh on the other hand provides tons of comic reliefs and sometimes even imparts really good advice.
This webseries is primarily about today's metropolitan relationships and also works with many other subjects. It challenges stereotypical gender roles by making the girlfriend more emotionally stable in their relationship and raises questions against the idea of a Big Indian Wedding.
It is sweet, romantic and makes very real choices with the script.
Watch it because you'll surely relish the experience.

This show is one those few shows in which the plot is realistic with perfect dose of subtle comedy and strong emotions. The script is nothing short of brilliant. The way series builds up from first episode is phenomenal. The lead characters share a great chemistry and compliment each other really well. Its a story about a boy and a girl discovering love out of a long distance relationship and eventually getting to the point of marriage. Mikesh is sort of an "egg head" and Tanya is the more mature and smarter one. After three years of long distance relationship suddenly Mikesh proposes to Tanya for marriage which in turn creates confusion between the two. And the couple somehow manages with the baggage of their decision. Season one is more funny and reasonable. It is more compact in its storytelling. Season two also share the same theme, but it is more dramatic. The plot is a little bit loose and focuses more on the human elements and values of family, society, and culture. But overall season 2 ends on a great note leaving us wanting more. Vaibhav Bundhoo once again has worked his magic with his musical talent, and has created some really mesmerizing and amazing track. The real MVP's are the writers who have created a story so simple yet so compelling and engaging without getting boring or feeling stretched at any point if time.

Definitely a #MustWatch couple drama!
Permanent Roommates typically revolves around a young couple - Tanya & Mikesh. It wonderfully portrays how, this very couple face the prospect of marriage after having stayed together in a long-distance relationship for quite a while. It is really riveting to see how two people of totally different personality types, stick along with their decision to stay together despite all the difficulties coming their way. The journey gets a little intense sometimes but this guy Mikesh with a #Whimsical sense of humor manages to win back the heart of his #SweetHeart Tanya every single time! So many minor clashes, and light- hearted #Disagreements; yet #Love keeps them going. All in all, TVF Permanent Roommates is a #sublime combination of #love, #drama , #comedy and how the Oh-So-Sweet couple and their respective families come together as one!

as the poster describes it's cool to watch this web series. another good piece of work by TVF. I like the way this couple lives together after long distance and all. the affection does not dies between them. Sumit Vyas again playing the lead in this series too and its the power of his acting and comic timing that people are in love with him and his work. I have recommended my this series to my friends who are quite unstable at their relationships. I love the character leo, one high af person, superb actor.

These TV series can be associated with the daily drama of couples who are in their 20's and their struggle through marriage while having a lot of complications. This can be related to real life somewhere as it is purely based on what a common man/woman feels before marriage. Towards the end of the series someone might start losing interest but the way they have shown the story is relatable at many parts.
