Coronation Street : Season 61

Asha feels the eyes of the world on her. Ken publicly exposes Charles' financial fraud. Carla agrees to take charge at the Rovers.

Gary intervenes in Amy and Kelly's fight. Ken tells Claudia that Stillwaters will never be his home. Johnny feels uneasy leaving Scott at the Rovers.

Cathy comes round for a natter but Geoff manipulates the situation so that Yasmeen ends up offending her and she storms out in a fury. Gary finds Kelly in tears. Asha implores Dev not to go to the police about the video.

Yasmeen heads to the medical centre. Geoff declares that Yasmeen caught the STI from Sharif. Kelly’s mum Laura visits Gary at the furniture shop.

Daniel returns from the grief retreat and Ken’s pleased to hear he found it a great help. Dev see how distraught his daughter is and finally agrees to phone the school and try to withdraw his complaint.

Yasmeen finally snaps after months of abuse. Yasmeen is shocked to discover Geoff has agreed to pay for their wedding.

Yasmeen faces the consequences of her red mist, as the paramedics attend to Geoff. The police question the regulars about Geoff and Yasmeen’s relationship.

An exhausted Yasmeen sits in her police cell. When Dev blames Kelly for heaping so much trouble on Asha, Gary leaps to Kelly’s defence leaving Adam intrigued. A loved up Adam and Sarah return from their honeymoon.

Alya tells Sally that Geoff has been controlling Yasmeen for months and she’s never had a drink problem. Imran watches as a bewildered and upset Yasmeen is charged. Max delivers his speech at the Outreach Awards and looks with disappointment at David’s empty chair.

Steve meets up with Leanne at the nursery school that they are looking at for Oliver and the head teacher offers to show them round. Nervous Yasmeen attends her bail hearing and sees Imran take the stand as Geoff and Sally look on. Will she be granted bail? Cathy complains to Dev about Bernie and threatens to leave the kebab shop. However when Dev offers her an extra 50p an hour, Cathy changes her mind.

Steve and Leanne fear for their son after his seizure and describe Oliver’s symptoms to the doctor. In the kebab shop, Cathy and Bernie bury the hatchet and Bernie agrees to knuckle down. Alya calls at the Rovers and tells Sean how Yasmeen is the victim of domestic abuse and she is determined to take Geoff down.

When Don makes another racist comment, Ed just lets it go leaving Michael confused. To Steve and Leanne’s relief, Oliver seems much better. Craig suggests to David they go for a run together and it’s clear David wants to get out of it.

Steve and Leanne await the outcome of Oliver's tests. The Baileys display differing attitudes to racial abuse. Gemma realises that she's not alone.

Steve and Leanne Battersby keep a vigil at Oliver’s bedside. Having googled mitochondrial disease, Steve’s upbeat as he explains that there are different strains and many people with the disease lead full and normal lives. Gemma tells Bernie and Chesney that she feels like she’s turned a corner and she couldn’t have done it without them and the support group.

Ed has had enough and challenges him and as the room falls silent he explains he’s suffered racist abuse all his life, but he’ll never give up the fight to put a stop to it. Michael assures Tianna that there’s no place in this world for racism and he’ll do everything he can to make it a better place for her. Aggie tells Ed that she’s proud of him for standing up to Don but wishes she could be proud of the way he is with James too.

Oliver has his sedation reduced. James faces his demons at football training. David seeks an outlet for his rage when he learns the latest about Shona.

Clayton takes advantage of Shona's memory loss. Leanne insists that Oliver will make a full recovery. James worries that he made the wrong decision.

Shona requests that David stays away during her home visit. Tim collects Geoff from hospital. Dev accuses Asha's school of failing to protect her.

Geoff gains entry to Number 6 to delete the CCTV footage. Roy finds Shona lurking outside the cafe. Dev decides to move the twins to Oakhill School.

Alya makes a shocking discovery regarding Geoff. Asha's problems follow her to her new school. Roy invites Shona to move into his flat.

Asha Alahan comes face to face with Corey and his cronies. Realising the truth will come out in court, Geoff admits he hired escorts as Yasmeen refused him sex. Roy and David visit Shona at the rehab centre.

Whilst Gary Windass is doing a bit of investigation work with the help of a PI to try and find Kelly’s mum, Adam is doing his own digging, quizzing Kelly about her dad.

To Alya’s delight Yasmeen Nazir enters a not guilty plea. Back on the street, Geoff is furious and tells Tim they need to show a united front.

Sally tells Tim Metcalfe that she wants Geoff out – forcing him to move back to number 6. Tim feels bad but when Eileen also says she isn’t sure about Geoff’s side of things he starts to wonder about his dad’s protestations of innocence.

Chelsey blackmails Carla to keep quiet about her past. Sally refuses to sit with Tim at The Rovers. Daniel realises how empty his life is. Adam cosies up to Laura, as Gary urges her to move away.
