Seven kids all born on the same day but conceived miraculously by women across the world. Each kid possessing unique superpowers that seems to come with a price. A dead "father". A not so human mother. A talking Ape. Oh and not to forget the blurry line between good and bad.

All the children of the house have a superpower. To list them out Super strength, precise aim, mind control, can see the dead, time travel, tentacle monster. The seventh power to be revealed when you watch it.

Season 1 is basically the backstory of the seven when they were young and how they went on their own path only to be reunited by their fathers death.Until all of a sudden they need to find a plan to stop the world from coming to an end.

Season 2 starts off by showcasing that the seven have time traveled into the past and are scattered across the years. Oh and they brought the end of the world back with them. The journey is off the umbrella academy finding their way back to each other to stop the world from ending, again!

This show is one of the best Sci-fi dramas on Netflix. The ethnic diversity and sexual orientation among the cast is applaudable. The show does not seem to be a drag and each passing movement only builds the suspense. The episodes also sheds some light on various important moments in history. All in all this movie is a full package of positive surprises.

The first leg of the story begins in a small and barely known village in the country of Iceland. Here every villager knows each other mostly because they all are probably from the same bloodlines. In this place where big dreams usually end up just remaining crushed hopes, Lars Erickssong and Sigrit Ericksdottir think otherwise.

Since their childhood their only dream has been to win the Eurovision singing competition. But with Lars busy being the biggest disappointment to his father, Sigrit visiting "elves" and together just being bad performers, luck still works in their favor.

Yes the movie is silly but you're bound to get on the emotional roller coaster ride. I loved the accents and the way the lead actors pulled together their roles. I wouldn't say the movie was hilarious but it still will make you smile.

The Kissing Booth 2 is a sequel to The Kissing Booth. Honestly, I found this a tad better then the first part.

Elle, the protagonist is now a senior in high school struggling to make grades meet while maintain her long distance relationship with her long time boyfriend Noah who's gone off to college. Everything starts crumbling once insecurities creep in leaving a lot of relationships at stake.

The movie in one word is cute. Nothing more, nothing less. It tends to give the same vibe and story line as that of "To all the boys I've loved before." I love how they kept the characters' personalities constant. The acting was on point. Though the dialogues and story plot have flaws, you tend to look past it because of how sweet and endearing the movie is. If you're a sucker for teen romantic movies, this will surely end up being one of your guilty pleasures.

JVan reviewed Warrior Nun
This show was adopted from a manga style comic.

Ava an orphan and quadriplegic has spent most her life bed ridden in a catholic orphanage only to die a not so tragic death. Few minutes into the episode she rises from the dead, jumping through walls and surviving brutal car crashes. The show revolves around a secret nun society of the Vatican Church called the "Warrior nuns" who for centuries have guarded the earth realm from the monster of hell. Their secret weapon is a Halo from Gods own angel inserted into a "chosen" warrior when the time comes. Accidentally the Halo ends up in dead Ava. After that the following episodes portray Ava as the "hell" broken loose.

Truly relished the concept of the show, although the episodes felt short to me because of how each moment was unnecessary stretched. The cinematography and acting was on point. Although, Ava's character lacked definition and felt for no reason complex, behaving with no ulterior motive.

Definitely a must watch.

All the built up expectations I had for this movie shattered by the end of watching it.

The storyline is nothing new. The main female lead Wesley, lives the fast life. She a guidance counselor which is ironical as she seems to need all the guidance she can get. On finding out her ex is getting married she gets set up on a blind date with a guy named Sean. Wesley tries to "be herself" but it doesn't end up well for her. Pretty quickly she realises she has to stop being who she really is to bag a guy. Fate hits her faster then her head after she trips on the pavement. Introducing Jared, he has everything she wants and after one night of fun, he doesn't call her back for the next 5 days. Furious and drunk Wesley with the help of her friends, they write an email to Jared about intensely descriptive and disturbing one liners. Soon enough her friends and her are in Mexico trying to delete the email off Jared's laptop.

The movie says it's a comic relief but till the end I'm pretty sure not even a smile fell upon me. The actors had so much potential but the story made no sense what so ever. The lead roles were too complex, that one point the writers didn't know what to make off it. This movie is just bad.

April (Sofia Carson) the lead actress, is a chorus dancer who's come a long way from her little town following her dreams. After years of hardwork she fails the audition all because the stuck up women she "stole" the taxi from was one of the main judges for the audition. She goes back to her town feeling like she lost everything. April soon comes across a bunch of young girl who want to make it to National as the best dancing team, the only reason April agrees to teach them is because one the judges could be her way to redemption.

The movie is filled with Cliches. From Romance to chasing a life full of dream, if you're wanting to watch a movie that will get you feeling fuzzy with a happy ending. This movie is bound to do justice that. The acting is pretty average and so is the storyline, this movie is an easy watch.

JVan reviewed 365 dni
365 Dni is an Italian movie which translates to 365 Days in English. If you're looking for a movie along the lines of Fifty Shades of Grey, this is bound to be the best match.

Massimo, a young Italian man witnesses his father being shot right in front of his eyes, the only thoughts he can process is the one of a woman he caught sight of few minutes before the mis happening.
Years later the two cross path in Silicy, after scouring the world for her, Massimo ends up kidnapping her. Laurel is given 365 days to fall in love with him and even if after that she doesn't, he'll set her free.

The movie has received a lot of backlash for being derogatory. "Romance" wouldn't be the apt way of categorising the movie more like "Erotica." The storyline is just bad and has no sense of direction. The cinematography and soundtrack on the other hand makes it watchable. All in all 365 Days isn't everyone's cup of tea, If you're looking for something out of a fantasy book or just plain entertainment watch this movie but if you're bound to get triggered by it's definition of romance you should definitely skip it.

This show defines the phrase "It's so bad, it's good."
Elite a spanish original, is a show that revolves around the privileged vs the deprived. A story line that has been portrayed in many movies. The teenage drama mixed with a crime trail is what makes it stand out.

Three students are given scholarship to a high school that is filled with snobby, spoilt rich kids. Among them, Nadia seems to have recieved the scholarship because of her Islamic faith, which is soon disrespected after she's forced to remove her hijab, Christian a talkative guy who recieved a scholarship because his school roof collapsed on him, and this scholarship would avoid bad publicity to the company held liable, last but not the least is Samuel who's at the school based on his merits and also the only bread earner for his family ever since his brother was sent to jail.
They together try to beat the stereotypic system, but all hell breaks loose when Samuel's love interest is murdered.

The roller coaster ride of emotion, excitement, drama and the constant escalation of suspense will undoubtedly get you hooked to the show. The acting was fabulous, no unecessary plots or loose ends. Definitely a good watch.

JVan reviewed The 100
In my opinion this is one of the Best SciFi shows out there. The first season was released in 2014 and right now the last season is being released episode by episode.

The story revolves around many SciFi theories. The end of the world through natural disasters. Artificial Intelligence taking over. Wars. Space colonization and many more. The story starts off when after 97 years later 100 criminals all below the age of 18 are sent to Earth to check if the earth is survivable and report back to their home space station. On reaching land they realise there are people who survived the land, called Grounders. Minutes in they are already struggling to survive with retaliation both inside and outside the camp. With their homes in space running out of oxygen to keep their fellow families alive to the kids on the ground fighting the Grounders to stay alive. They all wish that there is still hope to survive another day.

This show is definitely a must watch. It'll have you binge watching because of how every episode just has more to give and the curiosity just builds up. The cinematography is applaudable. The acting of each charecter is what carries and brings life to the show. The shows storyline is a full package.

I had low expectations getting into the movie, but overall it honestly wasn't a bad watch.

The storyline revolves around Tim Morris a workoholic at a Corporate firm. He meets Missy an obnoxious and borderline weirdo on a blind date. The very next day at the airport he comes across a beautiful model also named Missy at the airport and they hit it off, literally. A week later Tim is invited on a retreat to celebrate his companies merger and he plans to bring the model Missy, but unfortunately he texts the wrong Missy.

The movies is pretty low graded comic relief that should be just background noise. A light watch for a regular day.
