Enjoyed it, bit lengthy n improper, sequel abhi baki hai mere dost!
Went with a lot of expectations. I think it's a first musical film of India. So that some can not enjoy the film, but how can I get borred who loves to listen songs!
I went there for the combo of Anurag and Ranbir. This time too it is extremely good. I like Katrina also and three of them did perfectly.
The film is not for Kids I guess, they may get borred in the film. But the location and cinematography are praiseworthy and eye catchy. I found the ending was not done properly. I felt many scenes were not perfect. So I lost the faith that it will get any award. This film has been made in 3.5 years, but I felt that the result is not that much high! If they had consumed time, the output should have been accurate.
That doesn't mean it is dull or boring. Audience will take home the Manipur portion. Because the outdoor part is very much complex or misplaced. Or even improper!
No doubt in performances. No doubt in direction. VFX should be more clear.
Music is perfect. Lyrics are awesome. Especially ~ Dil ullu ka pathha hai.... In which this line is my favourite - Dil Akbar Ka Pota Hai
Overall, after Bahubali 2, only film of this year which deserves 100cr or 150cr.
What's your take? After the last scene, I am waiting for its sequel.

Before watching it, somewhere I have read Anurag's & Ranbir's interview. They said that they made the film for children primarily. So I am not going to ask for clarification for some illogical & stupid sequences I noticed in the movie... and I am appreciating the movie.
Jagga jasoos raises an important international issue with interesting plot & characters. And the best thing about the movie is its being musical.
The characters are drawn very finely, and played excellently by the actors. If you question about what can touch you in deep of your heart, then I will say it is the emotional father-son chemistry. There are very few moments of Jagga & Tooti Footi together but they are very #sweet & #touching.
There is no need to talk about the performance of different actors. They all gave their best I think. Shashwat Chatterjee has played his role very well, I must say. The movie is simple, sweet, and full of adventures also.
....and yes. I am waiting for the sequal too.

This is the film ehich cannot be straightaway saud to be good or bad. Calling it good or bad will be oversimplifying the fantastic imagination of Anurag Basu, which he embodied through this film. His influences are really appearing clear at some places, most clearly visible was 'Tin. Tin. People who have taste for art of cinema will like the movie but people who are just regular watchers of movies for entertainment will find this film boring and dull. Talking about the songs, Pritam has really taken a benchmark several levels higher, Amitabh Bhattacharya lyrics are not very easy to catch, but one would want to listen to songs of this flick agsin and again if one had tuned it for more than once. It is a thumbs up for real lovers of cinema!

This is a big budget and risky experiment(a musical) which reunites the best looking pair of our generation. It can be a fun watch with cousins and siblings. Though it might be one of the most beautiful and colorful film in recent memory, it could have been bit sharper and pacier.
