Girls Hostel (2018)

The series follows Richa (Ahsaas Channa), a run-of-the-mill shy girl who’s ready to break out into the world, taking her roommate Milli (Simran Natekar), and unwelcome friend Jo (Srishti Shrivastava) for the ride. It follows their adventures as they tackle serious problems, like identifying the bra-thief in their hostel. The show does a good job of being light-hearted but not baseless. While a lot of the problems are made-up, and the show throws in fake misogyny to incite humor, it lets some real conditions slip in, like the double-standards around there being a curfew for girls, but not for boys.

The show also does such a good job at recreating college life that cliches like the social ladder and the forced villainization of medical students only adds to the fun. Another villain, the warden (Trupti Khamkar) was, surprisingly, one of the funniest characters in the series. Other roles were reasonably well-acted, and the work put into film editing shines as well.

It’s cheesy, but entertaining enough to make it watch worthy.

The series is sweet and simple. I think this is one of my favorite part about it, the web series doesn't try to solve world problems or women inequality. It just portrays them as it is in a very fun and humorous way.
Also, the way of narration from a normal and aspiring girl done in a very suitable way was pleasantly satisfying. The cast was effective and even the supporting actor had passion and weren't one toned. Every episode packs a punch, with many witty dialogues, fun plots and thankfully no overacting, (over drama) and no cringe love story. This web series is funny, and it will always leave you in chuckles and totally worthy of binge watching.

Girls Hostel follows the story of four fiery dental college students- Richa, Milli, Jo and Zahira. As they deal with their tumultuous yet funny college lives, the relationship they share with their parents and the mean wardens and the meaner fellow students, it becomes superbly entertaining and delightful to watch. A rivalry between the medical and dental students is just refreshingly funny. Starring Srishti Shrivastava, Parul Gulati, Simran Natekar and Ahsaas Channa, it's great one-time watch.

This is my favourite web series considering some #badass girlish attitude. This series explain the lives of 4 main girls who are not friendly at first but turn out to be the best #friends later on. Girliypa has always been successful in bringing up some amazing web series and videos every time but Girls Hostel turned out to be everyone's favourite. This series actually can be said #humorous and at the same time represents a #trueStory of how girls live and survive at hostels. This show stars Srishti Srivastava, Parul Gulati, Ahsaas Channa and Simran Natekar who have played their roles perfectly and were successful in making an impact on the audience.

Girls Hostel is an Indian comedy web series by TVF. The show depicts the hostel life of dental students. Even though the characters are cliched, the show is not boring. The acting is up to the mark and the depiction of hostel life is relatable. The dialogues suit the situations and often up the humor quotient. Since TVF has a lot of great content, this might just feel a little underwhelming, nevertheless the show is watchable.

I never knew that i would like a lady oriented series this much! this series is awesome and i don't know whether the things in ladies hostel , that too medical and dental girls hostel will be like this or not but they have showed a great show. Every hostler will definitely have a relation like jo and zahiras in first year. total concept is #entertaining and #bestOfDrama . milli and palak are #LOLFunny , their characters are really #humorous , every enjoys a #friendship like theirs . they have shown the best phases of hostle as well as our adulthood. really liked it! great show to watch.

Girls Hostel is a lovable series which captures each and every frame of life in a girl's hostel perfectly. From the junior senior typical drama, clothes stealths , typical warden who has no worries it gives you all. It features the classic old friends turned enemies story which is the centre of the plot. This web series has a lot of potential and can give you serious heartfill laughs if you had or are enjoying your hostel life.

We often question each other or wonder, what do girls do in a girls hostel? Well, this web-series is definitely an answer to that question.

Story revolves around the girls in a girls hostel- their crazy friendship, adventurous and happening lives, enemity as well as their bonding over each other. The story begins with Richa, a 1st year student at S.V.M Dental College, who is new to the S.V.M. Dental Hostel and is yet to know about the atmosphere that prevails in there. She shares her room with Milli, a fun loving girl, who is very friendly and simple, and she befriends Richa, very easily. Richa meets her seniors, Jo and Zahira, who are enemy to each other, after a "blast from the past" incident. According to Richa, Jo is like the "Godfather of the hostel." Zahira is beautiful and confident and gradually became the President of the Cultural Society. She has full faith in herself.

The story continues through five episodes, with situations and experiences, which young girls leaving in hostel or studying in college would definitely relate to. This also portrays the rules and disciplines that are to be maintained in hostels, but students often break them, to achieve some freedom and enjoy their boring lives to make it more happening and exciting. The junior-senior battle and the rivalry with the Medical makes this a more entertaining story. This is a good watch for young teens and others.
The characters of Richa, Milli, Jo and Zahira, played by Ahsaas Channa, Simran Natekar, Shrishti Srivastava and Parul Gulati, respectively are really well done.

We all know numerous people who have always wanted to have a sneak peek into the secret world of girls’ hostels, right? From pillow fights to girls in baby doll dresses, they sure have their expectations set way up high!
Now, Girls’ Hostel does give them their much demanded sneak peek but I guess, it does shatter a few of their dreams too. It is as realistic as it could be – from bra chors to serious fights among friends – this show is going to show it all. With brilliant acting from everyone (a special recommendation for Srishti), amazing direction and the best script it could have asked for, Girls’ Hostel brings a few moments of pure fun and joy to revisit your hostel days.

This how is an honest depiction of one's life in a hostel. Trust me when I say this, there are "bra chors" living in the murky and dimly lit rooms of the hostel because I have been there and experiences it. A very raw and one of the most truthful essay of hostel life in a girl's hostel from Girliyipa is certainly commendable. Ahsas Channa and Srishti are absolutely brilliant. Srishti is such a diverse actor that her range to experiment with different roles make her a treat to watch. The story basically traverses the journey of Joy, Gurpreet and Sasha and how their friendship was affected by Ramya's growing jealousy towards Gurpreet's tremendous success. A beautiful and light-hearted comedy with a few emotional bits will certainly lift your spirits more than a bucket of ice-cream for sure.

To those who think that girls hostel is really about gossips and pillow fights, this series is an eye opener. It gives an insight in the life of girls staying in hostel.
You'll get to see the drama, the unity and love a perfect combo of everything you ever expected.

Girls hostel is an amazing web series presented by the girliyapa Originals. It is about a medical girls hostel and there daily lifestyle . The issues every girls hostel face is extreme well described in a very comic and entertaining way . I loved the various fights they had and the way these girls solved them and specially the finding the thief case was very hilarious.
The two main seniors of the hostel, Jo belonging to the dentist's hostel and other, Zahira belonging to the medical college were best friends and had a group including total three main member's. The story of the third member is very well kept as a secret till the very end. Richa, the fresher of the college steps into a complete new environment and tries her best to adjust in it. Milli all the way made every scene way more funny . It also includes a small love story and the scene in which the girls try there best to go out of the hostel in night to go on a trip with boys is one of the items in every girl's bucket list. Every character is being well played and I loved the series.
