Over the top action but worth experiencing in theaters
It is a big grand show of heroism with spectacular visuals. Though some of the scenes were ridiculous but I think one has to go beyond sane universe to deliver such kind of machoism. It is CGI and VFX will not let your eye blink (although its funny sometimes...yes I am talking about the end). I think the movie delivers its most powerful scene just before the interval and everything before that was just a setup for it.
Go watch it on big screens. I will not call it an awesome movie but its cinematography and extravagance are something not be missed.

Revenge is a dish best served Hot!
Its Big. It has iconic screen-grabs which can be printed into mile long posters and put up as emblem of triumph of Indian cinema(not just Telugu). The film puts a valiant effort to live up to the reputation and hype and it does a fine job without falling into the cliche`d sequel traps ; most importantly 'arrogance' and 'narcissism.'
It is definitely #mustWatch in theatres to just seep in the awesomeness and #extravagance of the film, especially Baahubali(not his son though, he seems a mere shadow). It is bit on a lengthy side and the second act could have been trimmed and a very important plot point could have been tightened as it suffered from incongruent assumptions. But the third act makes up for the lost cause. Not as good as the first one, but still an achievement in its own.

Amazing!
With a sequel, especially one this anticipated, there is that fear that it just cannot live up to the first movie, or the hype. I am here to tell you, after having just spent $40 to see the very first IMAX show of the day, that it satisfies. It completely satisfies. Rajamouli has done it again!! It was absolutely glorious to see it on the huge IMAX screen. Totally worth the money to me.

It takes Greatness to make a King and Politics to make him a martyr...
The conclusion to 2015’s Baahubali is not only satisfying, but also redemption for all the hard work put into these films by the 1000s of people who worked on it.
So let’s start off with the story first ….

This part 2 starts with a small Re-cap and then dives into the story head first, I wasn’t expecting much from the story, as the first part was sort of weak on the story element and it was mostly just setup.
So does this part pay off Story wise?

Mostly it does. Some things setup in part 1 are not addressed at all, but that doesn’t take away from the enjoyment of the film.

But lots and lots of questions still remain, maybe it will be answered in some book or comic series or animated series. Who knows.

But on its own, this film doesn’t stand without having seeing part 1. But if you have (as most have) this gives a good payoff to Baahubali’s story.

Coming to the music, it works VERY well, sometimes better than it did in part 1 also. The main title track is powerful with daler mehendi used RIGHT this time (remember Mirzya ?)
The tracks all work well with the romance and action of the scenes, the scoring is not lacking in any sense and often Indian directors pay too less of their attention to scoring, but Star Wars (1977) has shown what a score can do for a film. Happy to say, this film’s score is awesome…

Now the main focus, the action and CGI.
There is a whole lot more of action in this part than its prequel. More budget, better VFX, all has worked itself into some MESMERISING action sequences.
Every Frame of the action in parts of this film is like a poster on its own. Without going into spoilers, there are certain scenes towards the end of the film which I would LOVE to keep as posters on my walls! What CGI, what cinematography (real or digital) what imagination…
It’s simply incredible. I have seen a LOT of period films, From Hollywood to Indian films in Hindi and all the south Indian languages. Truly there is nothing which comes close to this level of detail and thought into the action. (period films, NOT counting Fantasy films like Lord of the Rings)
Having said that, the ending also has some physics bending, cool looking but utterly ridiculous scenes of action, but hey! Rohit Shetty can blow up cars for 50 feet! So who CARES!

I don’t think I need to mention how amazing the director of this film is… though he makes amazing films, they are not flawless, but they are entertaining, fun to watch and have a lot of good emotional beats too…

Rating : 8/10. A must watch for fans of part 1. No point seeing this if you haven’t seen part 1!

p.s: Seeing both parts together will be an amazing treat! It’s one complete film together and even though the ending is a bit rushed, the films together form some of the most technically advanced and compelling cinema made in India till now.

I completely agree with the iconic screen grab worthy frames(refer my review). There is a huge potential for merchandising. I also agree, the central turning point was a bit thinly conceived but nothing is perfect. Hoping for Rajamouli to helm Mahabharata

Watch once on Big Screen
The movie is worth watching on the big screen for the CGI and effects. The story line is a little predictable but the actors were good. I felt the movie could have been cut in length as it dragged a little in some parts.

I really liked the love story of Devasena and Baahubali. It is a rare example of equal relationship where the guy stands up for his wife.

Now I know Katappa ne Baahubali ko kyu mara
A movie that is a landmark for Indian cinema at least. Baahubali 2 has the complete story of Amarendra Baahubali(The original one) which very much resembles the character of Lord Rama. A baahubali in true sense and a hardcore follower of dharma.
Pros:
1. Prabhas and his dedication to the role
2. comic touch in the first half
3. Mesmerizing special effects and locations
4. Marvelous story telling of SS Rajamouli
Cons:
1. Too much visual effects(Yes its a pro as well). Many a time it feels like an animated movie more than a real one
2. To hell not impressed with the reason "Katappa ne Baahubali ko kyu mara". I was expecting a shocker but you can predict it way before it actually comes up
3. The climax which was told to be worth Rs 30 Cr really doesn't add up to the greatness of the movie

Hats off to Team Bahubali!!!!!
Baabhubali 2 has finally arrived, after a 2 year wait. Yes, this was my most anticipated film of the year. I had high hopes and expectations from this film. And it delivered in each and every way possible.

Plot: Kattappa tells Shivudu about his heritage by the story of his father, Amarendra Baahubali.

Story and Direction: If you basically go in to a Baahubali film expecting some Inception like story please don't go. The story is predictable in every way possible. It is actually a mixture of Ramayana and Mahabharatha. I didn't go to see actually a story. I went to see it because of the grandeur and vastness of Baahubali. I went in as a fan of the previous part. Rajamouli has pulled off a film with great finesse. You can see the work that he has put to pull of this masterpiece of this. I saw the Hindi Version of the film. And yes, the dialogues were great too. Although yes, the film went over the top in almost everything. So what!!!! I have only one complaint though: That would be that the face off between Mahendra and Bhallaldeva was cut short. Yes the sequence was well directed. But I wanted that portion of the film to be longer. The main reason this was shorter was because the flashback was little bit too long for me. But that said, I wouldn't say I had a disappointing experience. It was a blast for me.

Acting: Prabhas who played dual roles of both father and son was great in both the roles for me. While the father needed the calmness and attitude, the son had the revenge in him. Rana Daggubati was a bad-ass villain. Nassar too was great in his role. Anushka Shetty was apt for the role of Devasena. Nobody could have played it better than her. Ramya Krishnan was the best Rajmata I have ever seen. Sathyaraj as Kattappa had a comic role in the first half, which was quite shocking in a very good way. Subbu Raju as Kumar Verma, was also good. Tamanna hardly had a role in the film which I could forgive.

Music: M M Keeravani's music was par excellence. The background score was also had excellence written all over the tunes. I can't actually pinpoint a song that I didn't like in this film.

Other departments: As I said before, the flashbacks needed a little more editing from my side to adjust for the finale act. The cinematography was good. The VFX was great, if not, excellent. Action choreography was also good.

Favorite Scene: It would be the scene where Devasena is bought to trial after cutting the fingers of Sethupathi. Baahubali comes to the rescue and brings his brand of justice. I was in awe in that scene.

Verdict: Baahubali 2 for me was a visual treat. It ticked marked all the check boxes for me for a perfect film. As I said, I wanted the final act to be a little longer. If I was to select between the 2 films of Baahubali, I can't actually select one. Both were perfect for me.

I am going to go with a 9/10.

EPIC
I was never excited about a film in recent times after Kabali. I was so looking forward to this and was extremely happy when I reached my seat minuted before the start of the movie. The Baahubali part one was not complete since it ended in a cliffhanger after that epic battle which raised the expectations for this movie even higher.

Coming to the second part, it starts straight from the flashback portions. Now, all waiting for Baahubali to be crowned. And, we get a few comic moments between Prabhas and Kattappa while he romances the astounding beauty Anushka. And, we have a battle sequence as well with Oxen running with flames in their horns and Prabhas shooting three arrows at once and as well as teaching Anushka the same. And, a similar interval block where Rana once again feels small even after becoming the King of Mahismati. I was already got more than what I expected just from the first half itself. It had a lot of whistle worthy sequences. One of my favourite parts is when Baahubali's identity was revealed to Devasena and her people.

Can't ignore this Movie #mustWatch .
Although its larger then life feeling is little over dosed (Bamboo tree in war scenes and Vero ke veer Song). I did not enjoy songs at all in this part. Background music and story line was good convening. Majorly I liked the Women Power and role domination unlikely shown in epic movies.

Excess songs and sometimes animation feels too cartoony. "kattapa ne baahubali ko kyu maara" is obviously not a shocker. Just a fine watch for me.
