Adorkable and hilarious
If the first thought that arises when you finish watching an episode is, 'I wish my parents were this cool,' then you're not alone but fortunately things aren't all sunny for Ishaan (Ritvik Sahore) either as he often finds himself attempting to defend a lost case to his parents (played by Loveleen Mishra and Subhrajyoti Barat) about unspeakable things-condom, sex or homosexuality.

The format is quite typical. The parents end up finding out about their son's predicament which they weren't supposed to, leading Ishaan to come up with a believable concoction about the find, at which, he always fails miserably and his parents figure out the whole truth resulting in an extremely comical and awkward confrontation. From finding condoms in his pocket to a girlfriend who has been snuck in or stains from nightfall, the inquisitive parents, a helpless son and witty writing results in a great formulae for entertainment.

Each episode is roughly 10 minutes longs and packed with some convincing performances and fresh, humorous lines. Son's misery inciting sympathy, mothers genuine concern and dad's suave nonchalant brushing off of all tension is well balanced and makes for an intriguing watch.

It's a great prep for when you might find yourself in a sticky situation.

From deleting chat histories to hiding the 'deets' of the supposed meetings with 'friends', how many of us have done? A lot would be a safe guess. Given the massive leap that technology has taken, there has been a considerable generation gap if not massive. Struggling to explain certain things to your parents, wishing the already knew them or would be understanding or worst still explaining how we came to know all the stuff, is something we experience time and again. TSP Awkward Conversations with Parents captures exactly that awkwardness. It's funny and quintessentially awkward quite literally actually.

This light-hearted series is totally #hilarious and #LOLFunny . Its a #mustWatch for all those teenagers and adults who still struggle to have conversations on odd topics with their parents because its been creted as a taboo by the society. For me I would consider it as the #bestOfComedy series to watch on TVF. It brings forward a unique perspective and includes a lot of family drama. This show is actually an initiative to break the taboo of not having open conversations with our parents, which we should normally have. This series starring Ritvik Shore has received lots of love from the youth and even from elderswhich is actually an achievement.

Must Watch
We have all been there, haven’t we - having awkward conversations with parents on myriad topics that are, generally, a tad too late? How often have you been subjected to embarrassment because of these situations? I have been through many – from periods to sex to pregnancies, name it.
Therefore, it was a refreshing change to come across a series that highlighted my plight and showed me how I was not the only one going through it. Apparently, most of our parents have not cracked the code yet to subtle conversations on “hot” topics.
The Screen Patti very well lays out the tragedy that befalls its protagonist, Ishaan in Awkward Conversations with Parents while also addressing the various quintessential and relevant topics in today’s world. TSP beautifully and coherently addresses topics such as condoms, girlfriends, homosexuality, wet dreams and pregnancies. Loveleen Mishra is phenomenal as the mother who is concerned about her soon-to-be adult son and the hilarity that ensues every time Ishaan is caught, makes this 5 episode series a must watch.

It is a treat to watch and is a coming of age series . It targets youth and is good if matured audience watch it as there is no harm in talking about the elephant in the room. It always bring more comfort into a relation if awkward things are addressed. This series is crisp and to the point and does not extend unnecessarily, deviating from the agenda, establishes the plot properly and the actors have done full justice to the subject.
