Mr. Das (2019)

Strictly Mediocre
Mr. Das is an Indian comedy web series by Cheers! It revolves around Mr. Das, a marketing manager caught in a vicious life cycle. He has a boss who hates him, has no personal or social life and is still struggling to make his mark. He is a regular man with a 9-6 job who faces the same everyday problems a commoner faces and that is why a lot of people may see themselves as the protagonists. Kumar Varun is a terrific actor but underutilized in the show. The rest of the cast doesn't even require a mention. One thing that might bug a lot of people is that the opening credits are way too long. There is nothing which will make you appreciate the show let alone completing it.

Maria Ray reviewed Mr. Das
Dealing with the stresses of everyday life in a big city, Mr.Das has a major problem in his life: His Boss. Like an abusive relationship, the strain of the tirade of his superior is causing all sorts of problems in his life. Watch Kumar Varun starring in and as 'Mr.Das'. This series has awesome content which is very much relatable to all of us. This is not only about the story acted by the protagonist of the show but it is for all those people who go through this situation in life. I am pretty sure that this will be the best series for them. Although the climax could have been much better, and I also noticed that Bhat acts as an imaginary friend living with Mr. Das. He is not in any other scene. With Mr.Das except at home. He advises Mr.Das like his own conscience by talking to him and giving advice on multiple topics just like his own thoughts are circling around. #insightful #quotable #silly #satire

"BOSSY" ... Very Relatable..
Dealing with the stresses of everyday life in a big city, Mr. Das has a major problem in his life: His Boss. Like an abusive relationship, the strain of the tirade of his superior is causing all sorts of problems in his life.
The web series tackles an everyday but little discussed subject – that of an employee having a boss from hell. The trailer looks promising and we are waiting for the short film eagerly. It’s not everyday that a creator thinks of tackling something as mundane but relevant as the office culture. The series stars Kumar Varun, Anisha Victor, Naveen Kaushik, Badri Chavan, Uday Nene and others.

Mr.Das is not an extraordinary man with spectacular life, indeed he lives a hell where there is only two emotions which fills him that is frustration and whining. His too common problems moves the viewers.A man's whole life gets stuck in paying the EMIs of the loans it takes , it seems too sad to reveal the truth as it is so they try to make it tolerable to audience by making it funny.Abusive Boss, poking friends,ex-girlfriend who breaks-up over Whatsapp and annoying fatso roommate ,not to forget the lists of loans hanging around his neck which needs to be repaid.Keep on watching to be part of his problems until he solves them all.
