One of Prime's latest drama depicts the co-existence of the personal and social lives of two individuals who are partners of a newly founded wedding planning company. Each episode follows a new wedding, with brand new hurdles, filled with lies and betrayal, and protagonist’s way of tackling it. Moreover it shows snippets of the reminiscence from their past that defines their current character and personality. The background of the show gives an insight of the dark side and rich culture of the ostentatious South Delhi crowd with big bucks and forgery as their foundation. As the story moves forward their past catches up with them, and season 1 ends with the confrontation of both the individuals with their harsh and separate reality. Summing it up, in my opinion, the series comes under the better half of the world of Indian web-series.

Jodis made in heaven and Indian weddings – We are all about the extravaganza, aren’t we? Two wedding planners - adding a modern touch to our traditions and customs, rooted in Delhi and thinking big before they think anything else at all. An entire team of Made in Heaven that addresses issues, takes a stand, speaks out but most of all, it relentlessly pursues its dream of being a successful wedding planning company together.
Each character has been drawn meticulously and each complexity has been addressed with skillful acting and brilliant direction. Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti have given us a new series to binge and depend on, while making it realistically appealing at the same time. Every episode showcases individual weddings that do not really seem far-fetched and show the Indian roots at the same time.
This is the show everyone should be talking about. This is the show we can really be proud of.

this web series drama has it all. It has shown the true picture of behind the scenes of Indian weddings. Zoya Akhtar has portrayed the LGBT community on the right side as well, now living in an Indian society pressures you to hide inside a shell if you are related o the community. The series also showcases the misogyny faced during the Indian weddings or how the women are targeted if they belong to lower middle-class families. In the end, this is a must watch series, totally different from the other Indian web series.

Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti’s Made in Heaven looks like a series about the glamorous and exciting life of the elite and the grandeur of typical big fat Indian weddings on the surface but the show has so much more to offer than just that. It leaves no stone unturned in displaying the ugly reality of the seemingly high and glamorous world of the elite, the class wars, inherent sexism, police brutality and homophobia in India. The juxtaposition of stories of the weddings planned by the two protagonists, Tara and Karan and their own lives have explored themes of loneliness, acceptance, betrayal, manipulation, and love beautifully. The characters’ flaws and desires are relatable, their plots are hard hitting and have an intense emotional impact and the monologues at the end of each episode by Shashank Arora (who plays Kabir) always leaves you thinking. The writing and the execution are pure excellence from the makers and the actors. If you’re looking for something binge-worthy that really makes you feel, Made in Heaven is a must watch.

It has #gay #sexual #erotic #adultery content and it brings out such a #beautiful mix of these arenas that it makes its audience crave for more episodes. This is a #wedding revealer. It expresses the truth behind the hidden curtains at weddings and all the stereotypes attached to it. #

A underrated Prime Video original that deserves more attention. With a highly talented cast that aptly and meticulously portrays their respective characters, this show revolves around all the topics that one would not bring out on the dinner table. It has the perfect balance between drama and lust and exposes the ugly reality present in life. It exhibited real people and dramatic situations without stereotyping or succumbing into cliches. Overall it displays good character development, feelings of love, friendship, envy, betrayal and unaddressed emotions that are correctly exemplified to make it an absolute must watch.
