Emmerdale : Season 45

The Spencers are still trying to come to terms with Ali's sudden death. Dan has agreed to help Rachel and Sean with the funeral arrangements and vows to focus on his children but he's still annoyed at Daz for telling Amelia that Ali's dead instead of letting him break the news. Joe gifts Noah some new games which annoys Charity.

Kerry hates being burdened by Daz's secret so after Dan and Amelia go out, Daz tries to explain things. Jai is surprised to learn Rishi has a date with Helen. Rishi begs Frank to help him during the date. Frank reluctantly agrees. Daz tells Kerry that sleeping with Ali was a drunken mistake which they both regretted.

Megan overhears part of Frank's phone call to a jeweller regarding an engagement ring. Frank then proceeds to lie to her that Rishi needs him to go into Hotten to collect something. Megan takes this as confirmation he's cheating on her. Kerry removes a strand of hair from Amelia's hairbrush then pulls a strand from Daz's head for a DNA test. Noah appears at Home Farm again.

Megan sits contemplating yesterday's events. When David walks by, Megan asks him about his relationship with Tracy and if he believes his marriage would've survived if he'd told Tracy about Leyla sooner. David comments you can't love someone and lie to them.

Aaron and Robert visit Liv to confront her about her alcohol consumption, revealing they found a water bottle containing vodka in her schoolbag. Graham informs Joe that Megan got engaged yesterday. Joe jokingly asks if Graham wants him to have Frank killed. Noah calls into Home Farm hoping Joe will take him to all the places he used to hang out with their dad.

Joe's lifeless body lays in the water. Noah rushes down the side of the quarry as Debbie arrives on the scene. Whilst Noah calls for an ambulance, Debbie runs into the water and pulls Joe out. She begins performing CPR. and Joe begins breathing again. Priya fills Lachlan in on her meeting with a potential client.

Robert fills Chas in on Liv's drinking problem and how Aaron is blaming himself. In the café, Debbie talks to Rebecca about Joe, revealing they kissed yesterday and now she doesn't know if she hates Joe or herself more. Noah call round to Home Farm to see Joe, this time with Charity's blessing. Noah hugs Joe, relieved that his brother is alright.

Zak returns to Wishing Well Cottage with the news that Belle's doing much better so Lisa will bring her home later. At Home Farm, Debbie finds Joe attempting to put a model airplane together following a challenge from Graham. Joe is struggling so he asks Debbie to help.

It's the day of the sexual exploration initiative launch and Tracy is nervous about making a speech. Although Vanessa has decided not to attend, David, Frank, Megan and Harriet will all be there to support her. Vanessa calls in at the pub to check up on Charity but Charity insists she doesn't need minding.

As Charity is dragged out of the conference room, Bails' wife Chloe calls her a disgrace but Charity questions why she'd lie. Bails spins his wife a story about Charity being confused which leads Vanessa to label him a lair, stating every word Charity said was true. DCS Wordsworth informs Bails that Charity's allegations need to be investigated so orders him to go home.

On the morning of Bob and Brenda's wedding, Doug reminds Laurel this is her last chance to do something about her feelings for Bob. Laurel orders her father to drop the subject. Bob was supposed to spend the night at Victoria Cottage but didn't and now no one knows where he is. At the salon, Brenda gets ready, unaware her groom is missing.

Harriet asks if anyone knows of any lawful impediment to prevent Bob and Brenda getting married. Meanwhile, Laurel stands at Ashley's grave an apologises to her late husband. She states she was lonely and mixed up but now knows Bob isn't what she wants. At Dale View, Ross encourages Dawn to see a doctor and quit the drugs. Newlyweds Bob and Brenda have confetti thrown over them as they leave the church.

Tracy gossips about Bob and Brenda's ill-fated marriage. She speculates why it's ended and asks Laurel if she thinks Bob has cheated. Bob has spent the night in the café whilst the twins have stayed with Brenda at Connelton View. Cathy is convinced Bob and Brenda will make up. When Harriet pops round to check up on Brenda, Brenda informs her Bob was having an affair with Laurel.

Nicola finds the café closed again with a note pinned to the door revealing Bob and Laurel have been sleeping together. Nicola yanks the note from the door and heads round to show Laurel but not before Faith has read it.

At the salon, Bernice assures Daz that Dan will come around in time. Kerry pops in and informs them Dan didn't come home last night and isn't answering his phone. Daz vows to put things right somehow. Gerry and Doug find the Whingles sign has fallen on the floor and the crack above the door of B&B has grown larger.

At the B&B, Gerry listens to the voicemail from the day of the crash again whilst Doug removes some plaster. A lintel begins to creek so Doug concedes he'll need to get the builder back in. Laurel tries to talk to Arthur as he's walking to the bus stop but he ignores her.

Dan has no idea what to do for the best. He hates lying to Amelia about her true paternity and fears Daz might reveal the truth. Aaron receives a call about Liv and rushes off. At Wishing Well Cottage, an exhausted Belle asks Lachlan to borrow his tablet to watch a film.

Lachlan climbs over the rubble to get to Gerry. Gerry manages to talk but Lachlan shouts at his dying friend, ordering him to shut up. Gerry questions if Lachlan deliberately made the roof cave in. Lachlan admits he did. Gerry understands why Lachlan did it and reminds Lachlan he could've killed himself too.

Police swarm the village following Gerry's shock death. Doug blames himself and questions what Gerry was even doing at the B&B. A guilty Lachlan tries to assure Doug it's not his fault. DC Flanagan calls round to Dale View to inform Ross that the acid attack case is now closed. DC Flanagan states there isn't any more the police can do, unless Ross is withholding information they don't know about.

At Wishing Well Cottage, a distracted Belle assures Lachlan he's got nothing to feel guilty about for Gerry's death. Conversation soon turns to the pregnancy and they agree it's the wrong time to have a baby. Ross asks Rebecca out for a drink but Rebecca declines as she and Victoria are looking after Seb tonight. Doug can't stop thinking about Gerry and the potential manslaughter charge he's facing.

Joe calls in at Jacobs Fold where Debbie agrees to tell Sarah and Jack about their relationship after school. Debbie also believes she needs to make Ross aware too. Dawn sneaks up on Ross as he puts the bag containing the drugs in the boot of his car. She hands him more drugs, just as Debbie drives past.

Joe calls in at Jacobs Fold and is disturbed to see Debbie's bruised face. Debbie spins him a story about how she sustained the bruising but Joe knows she's lying and inquires if Ross caused them when she told him about their relationship. Debbie insists Ross wouldn't do it.

At Home Farm, Ross sneaks up behind Graham and strikes him over the head. Brenda has cleared out her and Bob's joint bank account. Bob knows she's trying to provoke a reaction so Laurel advises him not to rise to it. Debbie and Joe prepare to tell the Dingles about their relationship. PC Williams asks Doug to come down to the station for another interview. Charity is in town so Debbie is unable to tell her mother about her relationship with Joe. Joe returns to Home Farm to find an unconscious

Debbie has been shot. She slumps to the ground clutching her abdomen. Graham and Joe rush to her aid as a stunned Ross watches on. Meanwhile, in the pub backroom, Chas and Faith speculate about what Debbie has to tell them.

A nurse informs Joe and Ross that doctors managed to revive Debbie and she's now heading to theatre. Graham confronts Connor about hitting Debbie, pulling hairs from Connor's head as he does. Connor questions what's wrong with Graham and goes to leave but Graham states he isn't done yet. In the pub, Diane tries to assure Doug that it was grief talking and Terry will change his mind about suing. them.
