Emmerdale : Season 45

Pete reveals to Cain that he knows Moira was the one driving. Cain warns Pete not to say anything, but Pete explains that Moira will struggle to keep it to herself. Jimmy has slept on the sofa at Dale Head. He blames Rodney as he'd be in his own bed if Rodney hadn't persuaded him to go for a drink. Rodney insists Christmas is the perfect time to get in Nicola's good books by buying her something nice.

It's Christmas Day and Zak can't help but think about Lisa. Moira wakes up alone. Ashley has forgotten it's Christmas and Gabby's birthday, although Gabby insists it's fine. At Dale Head, Dan and Amelia play with Kyle's toy race track and Joanie gifts Zak a new cap. Belle insists to Lisa she's fine with not doing anything for her eighteenth birthday as she's already had a party. Lisa mentions Zak helped her pick a Christmas tree which makes Belle suspicious.

David, Eric and Tracy head to the hospital to pick up Jacob and Leyla orders Pete to gather his family for another Christmas celebration. Nicola is delighted with her necklace and she and Jimmy are all loved up again. When Nicola leaves to see Laurel, Jimmy thanks Bernice for the necklace, but Bernice insists she didn't get anything. Zak has slept in the caravan and Cain questions which of them are worse with women.

Brenda mentions to Lisa that with Joanie gone it clears the way for her and Zak to reunite, which doesn't go down well. Zak can't get hold of Joanie. Kasim hurries off when Emma tells him he's more than welcome to move into Dale View. Cain isn't happy to find Zak in the café, whilst Joanie is still gone with Kyle. Kerry tells Eric that she's sick of him looking down his nose at her, but Eric point her in the direction of her bill.

Jimmy has slept at Dale Head again so Dan suggests he go and see Nicola. Nicola tries to cheer up Elliot and Angelica by offering to make a special breakfast but it doesn't make a difference to their mood. Cain asks Lisa for Joanie's address, but Lisa refuses. Cain worries that the longer they leave it, the further away Joanie will take Kyle, and he insists it won't end well if he has to go after Joanie. Kasim calls round to Dale View with a bunch of flowers for Finn but Emma assumes they're for

Rebecca and Chrissie discuss having a small party for New Year. In the café, Joanie compliments Rishi's new shirt, and Kerry decides to drag Joanie along to the singles night. Emma reminds Pete and Finn about the family lunch at B&B, and invites Kasim along too, but isn't so welcoming to Leyla. Kasim is worried when Leyla talks about Emma.

Joanie has spent the night in a cell, and PC Pierce informs her she can leave after she has apologises to Tommy. Leyla suggests Emma join them at the party at Home Farm. Finn also invites Kasim along. At Home Farm, Rebecca prepares for the party.
