This is a classic case of "Well begun is not half done". The film, though starts well, loses steam after first 30 minutes. It does a considerable effort to introduce half a dozen side characters but then forgets them, neither working on building their characters nor their presence in the story. Brad Pitt is awesome, and that's it. We have seen better films on War, better characters and better stories with depth which really strum the right chords when it comes to politics and the business of war. |
