it was worse !! #pointless !! Please provide an option for 0 stars cause this show doesn't even deserve 1/2 star!! hate it !! the stuggle of sunny is nice but showed it in a worse way !! hate it and will never try to see this again and also recommending you not to !!

Sympathy might not be the first emotion that arises while watching a biopic on Sunny Leone's life but a deeper level of respect and compassion can't be denied. Karenjit Kaur is all about the chance circumstances and events that led Karen, a shy immigrant from a conservative Sikh family turn into an adult industry's superstar.

Every episode transitions between various phases in her life. Usually, two periods are narrated simultaneously, her childhood (1999) and the 2016's rather demeaning interview she faced are juxtaposed in the first few episodes, then her teenage and her adult video career and so on. This narrative style is enticing and effective. Segues are smooth and editing is on point. Stellar efforts by direction team and production team bear sweet fruits of success, the show is absolute eye candy.

The show has a gripping writing and convincing performances, make the show a great binge-worthy option.

In a culture where sex is taboo and protection of ethos lies in the realm of controlling female sexuality, the story of Karenjit Kaur aka Sunny Leone is something that was ought to be embroiled in conflicts and controversies. A series, that traces the trajectories of the life of the actress, sheds light on her personal struggle with the double standards of our land that on one hand, views expression of female sexuality as immoral and on the other, turns a blind eye to male promiscuity. Overall, the story of her life is different and doesn't easily fit into everyday narratives, and, is therefore unique. However, the screenplay could have been more structured and coherent.

As the name suggests, Karenjit Kaur- the untold story of Sunny Leone, is the biopic of the Canadian born actress, Karenjit Kaur who works under the pseudo name of Sunny Leone. The show surfs various timelines, covering crucial events of the Bollywood fame actress. My absolute favourite part about the whole show was the way and the perfection with which Sunny portrayed herself going through different stages of her life. The joy and grief, success and failures and her passion took us along with her on this rollercoaster ride, which is her life. The actors chosen for their respective roles did their best on their screen-time. The only thing that put me off about the show was the constant transition between the timelines which became a little confusing. But the whole show threw a new light on the journey of this brilliant actress. She showed that she is more than what people are willing to believe in.

Though this web series under Zee5 banner was quite controversial but was able to make up to mark performance. It can be called #entertaining and #inspiring at the same time. Since its a #truestory of a porn star turned actress , this series calls out for controversy. Yet Sunny Leone was able to give a #beautiful performance on- screen and really prove her existence. This whole series is divided into 3 seasons. Though the first season had 10 episodes the 2nd and 3rd season were quite short. It was quite #characterDriven as it was based on the life of one person and all what led to the changes in her career.

Karenjit Kaur is the biography of Sunny Leone by ZEE5. THe show narrates the story of Sunny's journey from becoming a famous adult actress to becoming a famous bollywood actress. The show doesn't mince words and portrays a fairly honest story. However, if we look at it as a show overall, it is quite disappointing, the acting is underwhelming and the direction is haphazard. The viewer fails to connect to the story emotionally and therefore the series fails to live up to it's hype.

It can be watched once if you have an interest in knowing the life of Sunny Leone otherwise I would not recommend this web series. I personally didn’t like the show very much and the actors gave a mediocre performance. On the emotional aspect, I would say that her life had many ups and down. This show is streaming on the Zee5 app.

this webseries is about karenjit Kaur aka sunny leone .and who doesnt know her? Everybody knows her .but what people don't know is about her struggles and what all things she went through . Sunny leone did good . She is not i to much of acting but yeah,she pulled it off however .story line is good . Not much of adult stuff which u would be expecting . Pretty straight forward webseries . Director managed to keep the folks entertained . This webseries shows the background things which happened in her life and struggles she went through, so it's more or less like a biopic. But it didn't felt like that. U can give it a try. And you would surely get entertained by this flick!

Breaking the cultural stigma she does what she feels and stands out from the crowd and make a name for herself. Beautifully woven work that shows her hardships and challenges which she and her family faced for the choices she made. This is a heterodoxical series that will make you accept a girl who is little different from the preconceived notion of how she should have been.

It's very intriguing to watch Sunny Leone's life and what made her take the decisions she has taken today and break the society's stigma. The way she has discontinued the stereotype is very impressive.

This show deals with the life of Canadian born Karanjit Kaur, her venture into the adult film industry, her success, downfalls, struggles, depressions, and her susequent venture into the Bollywood Film Industry. Sunny Leone plays herself int he show. She is good to watch, but we must accept that she is low on acting and more on melodrama. More or less, she was okayish to watch. But her life story was more about her potrayal as an innocent girl and the hardships she faced.
