Spun where dreams are made.
It might not be made in actual heaven, but it has been spun someplace where dreams are made. Directorial ingenuity speaks volumes and the production design exudes finesse.

Central theme of the series revolves around presenting the shortcomings in the weddings of the uber-rich. Alongside it, run many subplots surrounding the lives of Tara and Karan, the owners and partners of a wedding planning company 'Made in Heaven'. The Actors successfully showcase multidimensional characters and each episode unfurls a new nuance of the character, making them human, and helping the viewers resonate with their emotional struggles.

From the surreal on-screen of the presence of Sobhita Dhulipala as Tara Khanna, wife of a proud, vain and filthy rich business tycoon Adil Khanna (Jim Sarbh) to Kalki Koechlin's flawless embodiment of Faiza Naqvi (a recovering abuse victim) or Arjun Mathur's portrayal of a closeted gay man- Karan Mehra, the show remains consistently engaging.

At no point is the grandeur overdone or ostentatious. The web-series is an amalgamation of emotions, drama, and retribution. It becomes an instant top contender on anyone's binge-list.

They have really created a #bestOfDrama series , with the concept of #wedding events management , and there comes our title , Made in heaven. Every character is of high class , not only about wealth but also talking about performance. They have shown us how exactly things will go during a wedding , problems, bondings, understanding ,what not! They even surprised the audience by exposing a main character as #gay , to know who is that , you #mustWatch the show. As i said , characters are of high class, we can expect #sexual and #erotic scenes as well. I enjoyed the overall show.

Made in Heaven is a capturing Prime’s original drama series revolving around the lives of two wedding planners Tara and Karan and the unfortunate and dark reality behind big fat Indian weddings. Each wedding brings a new set of drama in their lives along with the problems in their personal lives. With closeted sexuality and infidelity in marriage, life throws one lemon after the other in their lives. The show keeps you hooked throughout the duration of 9 episodes each being about an hour long. The only thing that annoyed me about the series was the complex narrative at the end of each episode because it is of no use. The show is pretty self-explanatory. The guest actors starring in the show add to the charm of the show with their excellent acting skills and perfect timings. The show is a seemingly excellent creation by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti.

Dobi reviewed Made in Heaven
"I am not paying anyone to marry me. That's all it took to shatter centuries of patriarchy. Just one tiny moment of courage. That's all it took to show up the chauvinist hidden deep in the supposedly progressive Indian man", "Can someone tell me why the wedding day is the most important day of a girl's life? As though nothing else matters. As though their existence has no value if they don't get married."The dialogues, the screenplay is brilliant. As an 'Indian show' it leads the way for the new generation TV content. Shobhita Dhulipala as Tara and Arjun Mathur as Karan, the best friends that stick with each other through thick and thin, are wedding planners breaking the ground reality behind the quintessential big-fat-crazy Indian wedding. The tumultuous transition from age old traditions to the 'dreaded' modernity ( dreaded as in dreaded by the 'old people' of course ) is what makes 'Made In Heaven' a delightful watch.

Made In Heaven is a new show by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Tyagi , which gives us insight into the intricacies of big fat Roch Indian weddings. It's like an inside scoop from a big even. All the drama, and the forbidden dark side of these weddings. It throws light on the bitter reality beneath all the gold and glitters and the breaking sounds behind the blasting music. The show is an amazing work , and it even represents the LGBTQ community. The two partners of this wedding planners duo have their time to time guess but at the end they keep aside their difference and work together to make these weddings work.
It's an Amazon Prime original series

Must Watch
I'd definitely like to thank Zoya Akhtar for make this beautiful piece of drama in the theme of a big fat Indian wedding scenario. Showing content of struggling adults who identify themselves as a part of the LGBTQ community in our country, it has been beautifully projected by Karan Mehra's character.

While the show deals with a lot of heavy topics and involves a lot of characters (that don't leave us satisfied with their role) in the flamboyish, extravagant, glamorous weddings, the internal struggles of Tara and Karan won our heart. Both have their separate inner demons and issues with surviving in the society. Kudos to Arjun Mathur and Sobhita Dhulipala for the role.

Lastly, thank you Vivek Anchalia for putting forth the issues in our Indian society in such a manner that, even if it's for the sake of entertainment, people will watch it and then later think about it in serious note because there are many who'd rather avoid topics like this. Thank you for writing this beautiful version of the big fat Indian wedding including today's peak points of controversies and struggles.

Worthy of your time
Made in heaven is an Indian web series by Amazon Prime Video. Helmed by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, the story follows the journey of Tara Khanna and Karan Mehra who are business partners and plan weddings. What makes the show binge-worthy is it's accurate portrayal of high class society of Delhi, it is everything you see in real life. Along with it's core storyline something which has been handles really well is that the protagonist (Karan) is gay. To bring a gay character on screen and do it justice is not something many shows can boast of, but this show does. If you want to watch fiction which feels real, hits you hard, then go for it.

"Made in Heaven" is the amazing web series India has produced, no doubt about it . The love scenes, both hetro and homosexual , look real with the actors letting loose the kind of unbridled physical passion that was so far forbidden in India cinema. Every major character in " Made in Heaven" is waiting to break free from one form of repression or another.
Shobhita's character Tara who comes from a middle class background, has married a rich man Adil who now is cheating on her with her best friend. Another best character is Karan Mehra who is a homosexual yearning to come out, grappling with emotional and financial problems.
Together Tara and Karan plot and plan through a string of affluent weddings, lavish on both food and feud. Lies seems to fuel the passion of these inflamed character. The dialogues hit the right notes without putting too fine a point on it. Both the characters solves typical problems like discreet dowry deals and unrelenting disdain for a 50 plus woman's desire for a second marriage life.
The emotional ruins of Tara and Karan take Made in Heaven to a somewhat satisfactory end, but it feels an hour too long in getting there.
This is the series you will want to watch all in one go. So set side a whole day for it.

Love is not the sole element that keeps a relationship from falling apart. This series proves it. Made in Heaven brings forward the brutal, but honest reality of relationships, love and marriages. It is about two wedding planners, struggling to set things straight between other couples when their own relationships are falling to pieces. The amazing cast, namely, Arjun Mathur, Jim Sarbh, Kalki Koechlin and Shobhita Dhulipala did perfect jobs on their parts. This series shows the ugly reality behind the pretty picture of 'love'. If you're looking for some good, gripping drama, Made in Heaven is just for you.

Shobita is AMAZIN *cannot keep calm*
Made in Heaven is a delight to watch. A webseries that covers the dark and conflicted world of the upper middle class and the elite society has been depicted with lot of sensibility and sensitivity. Alankrita Srivastav's work undoubtedly leaves an impression in the viewer's mind. Along with covering the topics of weddings with delicate hands, the show also brings forth the issues of infidelity , lgbtq+ community, racism, gender inequality and division based on economical disparity. Shobita Dhulipala is an absolute treat to watch. Jim Sarbh and Kalki , both seasoned actors are overshadowed by Shobita's brilliant performance as Jim's wife. It's a must watch for all those who love drama, social issues and above all a good script and brilliant performances.

One of Prime's latest drama depicts the co-existence of the personal and social lives of two individuals who are partners of a newly founded wedding planning company. Each episode follows a new wedding, with brand new hurdles, filled with lies and betrayal, and protagonist’s way of tackling it. Moreover it shows snippets of the reminiscence from their past that defines their current character and personality. The background of the show gives an insight of the dark side and rich culture of the ostentatious South Delhi crowd with big bucks and forgery as their foundation. As the story moves forward their past catches up with them, and season 1 ends with the confrontation of both the individuals with their harsh and separate reality. Summing it up, in my opinion, the series comes under the better half of the world of Indian web-series.

Don't miss this!
Jodis made in heaven and Indian weddings – We are all about the extravaganza, aren’t we? Two wedding planners - adding a modern touch to our traditions and customs, rooted in Delhi and thinking big before they think anything else at all. An entire team of Made in Heaven that addresses issues, takes a stand, speaks out but most of all, it relentlessly pursues its dream of being a successful wedding planning company together.
Each character has been drawn meticulously and each complexity has been addressed with skillful acting and brilliant direction. Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti have given us a new series to binge and depend on, while making it realistically appealing at the same time. Every episode showcases individual weddings that do not really seem far-fetched and show the Indian roots at the same time.
This is the show everyone should be talking about. This is the show we can really be proud of.
