Interstellar (2014)

I think this movie is beyond our imagination. The way he goes #mindBending and #thoughtProvoking where he meets her daughter, actually a #space_Traveling movie. So a must watch movie

I saw Interstellar on IMax, and it was well worth it to see it on IMAX. This film demands to be seen on the big screen. The film is long, there is much telling rather than showing, it's pretentious and ponderous. And yet, I'm glad I saw it. I admire the ambition of the film, and trying to deal with the realities and implications of interstellar travel.

But, on reflection later that night and today, the flaws are glaring. There are four astronauts on the mission. Could one of them have had more personality than the wise-cracking robot? They were all SO serious and dour. How about a couple of notes of humor to break it up? The film feels cold to me. I read later that the script was originally meant for Spielberg to direct, and I can only imagine the "feels" he would have made sure were there. I can't fault any individual performance -- they worked with what was given in the script. Matthew McConaughey was great, especially in the scene saying good-bye to his 10 year old daughter. I didn't know Matt Damon was in the film, and I won't spoiler it, but he was great at his role.

This was supposed to be an Oscar juggernaut, and maybe Nolan will get a director nod, more for his entire body of work. I don't really anticipate with the slate of films yet to come that any one of these actors will win the Oscar.

Absolutely loved it. This is first and only film I've watched in an IMAX theater, and the experience was well worth it. The effects were stunning and the music was amazing as well.
This would've been a 5/5 movie for me had it not been for that "love-transcends-all" segment, I hated that part.
But yes, well worth all the hype it had prior to its release. Nolan has delivered again.

I think the movie should be seen again and again to understand it better.
It seems to be a little confusing over various concepts of science

TOP!!
If there is one word to describe the movie its #mindbending ,the movie is about the inhospitable conditions of the earth which leads for a space exploration of a mammoth size. the ideas and scientific concept behind the movie are truly gonna change your ideas about our world, you suddenly realize how tiny u are and insignificant your life is compared to the enormity of the universe. the movie has certain scenes that that are #breathtaking and will leave definetly leave doubts on ur mind. am sure u will search on google about the climax and how it ends

Love can travel through time, dimensions or anything. Interstellar is a tale about the undying love between a daughter and her father embedded in a space adventure. Many people discuss a lot about the scientific part of the movie and forget that the main emphasis of the movie was on the different relationships that the human beings shared. Director Nolan helps us see the emotional drama through his direction. The screenplay and script keeps us craving for more. Another positive aspect of the movie is the acting of Matthew Mcconaughey's. He was able to melt our hearts with his emotional acting and dialogues. Hans Zimmer's music was so good that you will feel the music flowing through your veins. It takes to a peaceful place. The visual effects were top notch and was able to capture our imagination of the black hole and the outer space. A tear or two will be shed by the end of the movie.

You like it because you "understand" it or pretend to understand and feel good because you can say you understand a Nolan Sci-fi.
[well I fall in the later category and avoid any flame wars ]

If you want to visualize the secrets of space then its going to work out. Its a complete sci-fi.
Martin is the guy who gets stuck on the Mars and give up to give up, and it takes you on the journey of space, at some point the movie will definitely give you goosebumps.

It's a really good attempt to show why space exploration is important for mankind to survive in the long run. The visuals are amazing and the concept is really unique.

Great movie with a lot of science behind it, even if it seems to stretch things at times, eveything in it is either science, or theoretical science.
