Mere Sai : Season 1

The small town of Shirdi, is visited by a man clad in simple attire. His arrival catches the attention of the inhabitants of Shirdi. The young man starts meditating under a tree. His presence is met with hostility by Vaidya Kulkarni. When Sai Baba preaches that all gods are one, Vaidya pokes fun at him and makes it clear that he should leave Shirdi.

It is the dawn of India’s Independence movement. A British officer pays a visit to Vaidya Kulkarni and warns him about the movement that is gaining strength with each passing day. He informs Vaidya that no one in the village should assemble in groups. He assigns the task of keeping a check on this to Vaidya and leaves. Vaidya visits Sai Baba but before he can utter ill words, Sai Baba decides to leave the village.

A few years have passed since Sai Baba left Shirdi. Bhaija is sure that Sai will return to the village one day. Meanwhile, Sai Baba is met by man, who is looking for his horse. Seeing that the man is thirsty, Sai Baba taps on a boulder and water gushes out of it. The man quenches his thirst and then his horse comes rushing towards him and he is glad after being reunited with his horse. Later, the man informs Sai Baba that he is leaving for Shirdi and Sai Baba decides to accompany him.

On the route to Shirdi, the travelers witness a miracle. Sai Baba saves a boy from the jaws of death. Then, he goes on to help the tiger that was prowling on the travelers path. At dawn, Sai Baba arrives at Shirdi. Will Vaidya Kulkarni create trouble for Sai Baba? Watch this episode to find out.

Sai Baba finally meets Bhaija, who is in tears after seeing Sai after a long time. Vaidya Kulkarni learns that Sai has returned to Shirdi. Bhaija sees Kulkarni mercilessly punishing a boy. She rushes to inform Sai Baba about Kulkarni. Will Kulkarni’s evil intentions prove futile before Sai Baba’s divinity?

The villagers try to look for Sai but are unable to find him. Meanwhile, Kulkarni insults Rukmini when she serves to him, and speaks to him about Sai Baba. At the same time, Sai comes knocking at their door asking for alms. Will Kulkarni's ego come in their way? Watch the episode to find out.

Kulkarni's men search for Sai and are upset when they are unable to find him. However, when they are on a bullock cart, the rider tells them that he saw Sai Baba passing by. The two men follow him and get him to Kulkarni. An angry Kulkarni takes out his gun and is about to shoot at him.

Kulkarni is hell bent on taking his revenge on Sai Baba and goes in search of him. When he finds him near a cave, he sees that Sai Baba is praying. He tries to disturb Sai Baba but he is not pertutbed. Later, Sai Baba throws a stone at a girl with high fever. While everyone is annoyed by his act, Bai Sa believes that Sai Baba has a reason behind it.

The villagers gather around Sai Baba, who is confined. Bhaisa meets Sai and offers him a glass of water, against the wishes of the villagers. Kulkarni informs the police about Sai and they arrest him. But, before they can escort him to the police station, a miracle takes place and the villagers are left baffled.

Kulkarni is left red faced when he is reprimanded for blaming Sai Baba, who is subsequently released. Then, a villager gets bitten by a snake and is brought before Kulrani, as he possess a treatment for snake bite. However, Kulkarni refuses to treat him.

Kulkarni provokes the villagers against Sai Baba. Then, it is announced that no one will provide food to Sai Baba. When Sai approaches the villagers, he is ignored. Seeing Sai returning empty handed, Bhaisa decides to provide food to Sai. But, her kind act infuriates a villager who throws a stone at Sai.

Laxmi notices that Sai Baba has got an injury on his head. When she inquires him about it, he tells her that it is the result of his deeds. Meanwhile, Appaji has arrived in Kulkarni’s house for a feast. Kulkarini forces Appaji to eat. Even though Appaji has eaten his stomach full, he is further forced to eat by Kulkarni. If Appaji fails to finish the food served to him, then Kulkarni asks him to force Sai to leave Shirdi.

Kulkarni threatens Bhaisa that she should ask Sai to leave Shirdi or else Appaji will breath his last. Bhaisa approaches Sai and asks him for help. She realizes that Sai is already helping Appaji with divine intervention. Kulkarni is shocked to see that Appaji is eating whatever being served to him.

Pantaji tells Kulkarni that because of Sai, Appaji could eat all the food. Bayaza Maa asks Kulkarni to give herbs for Appaji's stomach ache. But Kulkarni refuses to give and asks her to come in the morning. Bayaza Maa decides to ask Sai for the cure of Appaji's stomach ache. Bhaisa learns from Laxmi that Sai has left Shirdi. On his way out of Shirdi, Sai comes across a bear, whose offspring has fallen into a pit. Sai reduces the cub, which is finally reunited with the mother. Bhaisa is in tears due to Sai's absence.

In this weeks episode, Kulkarni Sarkar takes control over the village in the absence of Sai, then he raids the entire village in the name of a pooja which is meant to bring life and prosperity to the village.

Sai’s divinity overpowers the evil in the hearts of the men who attacked him. Sai compels the men to take up the path of righteousness. Bhaisa tries to inform Kulkarni about the divine nature of Sai, but he refuses to listen. Then, Kashiram is brought into the village injured. Sai coincidentally arrives in the village at the same time and decides to save him.

Kulkarni is relieved that Kashiram is dead. He orders the villagers to make preparations for Kashiram’s final rites. Sai ignores Kulkarni and continues to treat Kashiram. After a while, Kashiram finally shows signs of life. What plan will Kulkarni come up with this time that will have an effect on Sai? Watch this episode to find out.

A farmer is relentlessly trying to dig up a well to find source of water. Kulkarni had ordered their farmlands to be burned down. Sai sees Bhaisa and tries to talk to her but she leaves without speaking to him.

Sai is overcome by grief seeing Jeeva laboriously dig up the ground in search of water. He asks him to contain his anger but Jeeva asks him to leave. Then, Sai’s words change the mindset of Jeeva. Sai once again helps the ones in need as water gushes out of the land, much to the surprise of Jeeva.

Sai feels the pain when his followers are beaten up by the police. Kulkarni stops the police and informs that Sai is the leader of the bandits and it is he who should be punished. What is Kulkarni’s plan this time around? Watch this episode to find out.

Kulkarni takes the police to the spot where he claims Sai is planning rebellion against the British. Kulkarni claims that Sai has magical powers at his disposal. When the police dig up at the spot, Kulkarni finds a box, inside of which he claims is a secret note to propel the people to rebel against the British Raj. What Kulkrani sees next leaves him in a state of shock.

An old man brings his ailing child to Sai for treatment. Sai successfully treats him and sends him home. Sai then sees an old couple being evicted from their house. He learns that on the orders of Kulkarni his men are forcing the couple to leave their house. How will Sai teach a lesson to Kulkarni this time around? Watch this episode to find out.

Sai sees the elderly couple, who were forcefully evicted from their house by Kulkarni’s men, have decided to leave Shirdi. Meanwhile, Madhav arrives with his wife to Kulkarni’s house but Kulkarni disrespects him.
