      Eat St. is a Canadian reality television series produced by Paperny Entertainment that airs on Food Network Canada and Cooking Channel. Hosted by Canadian comedian James Cunningham, the show tours North America in search of the most inventive meals served from food trucks. To accompany the series, an Eat St. App was developed that uses GPS to track street fare near the user. The series, which premiered April 6, 2011, has filmed in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, as well as a number of cities in the United States. The show will be airing its fourth season in 2013.

      Our first stop is Mo Gridders, a 35 foot long food truck in the heart of the Bronx in New York City.       Feed Your Hole is a deli truck that is part band tour bus and part bomber air plane, serving up old school BBQ recipes out of East Manhattan. Next we hitch a ride to The Biscuit Bus in Denver, Colorado for some home cooked southern goodness like their best selling Franklin Biscuit filled with fried chicken, bacon, cheese and sausage gravy.       We start in Las Vegas at FoodSlingers whose Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich is one of the best around. We then roll into San Jose where we get wowed by The Wow Truck with its Filipino rice plates (Silog). Next we get our hands on Mr Good Stuff’s Arepas in Miami, Venezualan Tacos that are the new vice in town. Finally, we stop in Portland at the EuroTrash truck for fine European cuisine such as their Bacon Foie Gras Waffle and Piri Piri Chicken.

      The Swamp Shack in Portland is our first stop where we wrestle with Alligator Jambalaya and an equally mean Bread Pudding. Next we cruise into Miami for something big, spicy and full of flavour at The Latin Burger truck. Then in Santa Monica we have a date with The Shrimp Pimp sampling their delicious Po Boy Sandwich and Drunken Shrimp Taco. Last up, we drive to South Carolina for an Italian feast at Strada Cucina.

      If music be the food of love, eat on because in San Francisco the Brass Knuckle Truck serves up music themed dishes such as Fry ‘n’ Maiden, Prawns ‘n’ Roses and a Snoop Dog. Still in San Francisco we stop by Babaloo for some Cuban cuisine. Then Vancouver gets a visit as we line up at Re-Up for some highly addictive southern style barbecue. Eat Street ends Season 2 in The Dog House, a truck stop in Portland that serves up comfort food out of dog bowls.
