Roshan Mhatre reviewed Ghoul
The Antihindu soul scavengers?
Netflix attempted to dig deeper into the roots of the Indian Market using the hype that was created for this miniseries.
After the trailer was dropped, the hype was crazy but as soon as the episodes came, that hype jumped from the top and died.
Since it was a miniseries, the number of episodes were only three; but it failed to build the character that was supposed to be.

The term “Horror Series” creates a image in our mind that it has to be thrilling and must give chills while watching; but when we try to pack so much of something in such a small time, we end up confusing the viewers.

The mood director wanted to create could have been done in a much deeper suspense.
The role of “Faulad Singh” was not much necessary, they could have been have improved there.

But the cinematography, CGI, a feel of isolation and the location were fantastic if not best.

The Storyline is appreciable but didn’t push the limits.
Climax which is very important in any series or movie is bit confusing but becomes clear after few minutes.

Overall to say, its good for a mini webseries.

India's best Crime Series
One of the most awaited #action #crime #thriller web series has again gained massive popularity as soon as it is launched.
In the battle against Sacred Games(netflix) and Mirzapur(Amazon Prime), Mirzapur has smashed the records unlike Sacred games totally shitting Season 2.

The ensemble cast has done absolute brilliant job leading to 8.4 IMDb rating and more than 90% 5 star ratings on Google.

Not the power and grasp like S1 but it still managed to create those flawlessly unpredictable scenes we strive for.
The premise of the series remains the same, it delivers the thrill, violence, and drama it promised.

It starts from where S1 was left and that actually maintains the utmost connection that we look in new seasons.

This revenge saga revolves around the guns, crime, greed for power, rule of mafia dons, and gang wars in the Purvanchal region of Uttar Pradesh. All these elements makes it a great watch and grab the viewer’s attention till the last episode.

The second season is more intense and action-packed but less on the engaging screenplay, some episodes are slow-paced. The dialogues are sharp, heavy, and impactful. The background score is brilliant, editing is fine and cinematography is quite ably.

Even though Ali Fazal(Guddu Bhaiya) got less screen space this time but he still managed to give a decent performance.

And at last, not giving much spoilers, the race continues for Season 3 leaving one of the Tripathi alive for the Gaddi.

Harshad Mehta - The Indian wolf of Wall Street
With a lot of people(including me) binge-watching all episodes in a single day; with 5 Star-reviews all over Internet; with SonyLiv getting a major boom in OTT, Scam 1992 is truly a masterpiece created by Sony.

Whenever we hear the word ‘Stock Market’, unconsciously we are reminded of risk, money loss, not our cup of tea but that is not true at all.
I personally started investing from the April of this year because Compounding is really the 8th wonder of the World.

Let’s get back to track, Scam 1992- The Harshad Mehta Story provides an intriguing sneak-peek at the untapped potential of homegrown content creators — and what they are capable of — if allowed to run wild with their imagination.

But what is really “risk hai toh ishq hai” popping up everywhere nowadays.
The series does not want you to “risk” your hard-earned money in order to become great.
Instead, its ironically saying not to do if you don’t have enough knowledge and that’s true for every domain in our life.

Though the background of the series is India’s Biggest Financial Scam, but we as viewers love to watch it and we should because reading a Financial book may won’t give the insights and knowledge that this series will give.

There’s a lot to learn from here such as “Greedy is Unhealthy” and we all know that but tend to forget.
But Money can be made legally through Stock Market if you have the right knowledge and most importantly “PATIENCE”.
Do Watch this series, it has everything you won’t want to miss!

Knock Knock - Sexy chicks on door?
We all are been taught right from our early age to never let strangers in our house, right?
But what if those strangers were two Sexy, hot looking wet young chicks??
Wouldn’t you be tempted to let allow then, thinking of having your boring life have some change, have some “funnn”?

Well this is what exactly happening in one of the most low rated, criticized and ‘Spanked’ movies of 2015 “Knock Knock” directed by Eli Roth.
DO NOT LET THE MOVIE THUMBNAIL FOOL YOU!!! JUST BECAUSE KEANU REEVES IS IN THIS FILM DOES NOT MEAN YOU SHOULD EVEN GLANCE AT IT!

The scenes where it should look most serious atleast sound realistic were the most unrealistic and funny scenes(in a sad tone).
Just because you have Keanu Reaves in the movie doesn’t make the film hit or block-buster.
Audience are not fools, they know about the importance of good-script, plot, music, direction, feel and most importantly we should be able relate with it.

The movie was planned or atleast thought to be a great Horror-thriller but it’s just a hyper-sexualization time waste.
I can’t talk more about this sh*t and definitely wouldn’t recommend you this one, rather watching this, I would sleep.
But Still, We should know about the good movies as well as the bad ones, so watch if you really really want to.

Inception - Dream like reality
With one of the highest ratings on IMDb(8.8), 87% on rotten tomatoes and thousands of 5-Stars on Google, Inception is undoubtedly, one of the best Masterpiece of the last decade.
The movie involves two most precious gems of Film Industry - all time fav ‘Leonardo Di Caprio’ and the most amazing director of films “Interstellar”, ”The Dark Knight”, ”Tenet” and many amazing, spectacular mind-bending movies ‘Christopher Nolan’.

Nolan's oeuvre is definitely one of the most creative outpourings in commerce and cliche-ridden Hollywood.
Nolan has continued to conquer the decade with consistent superhits.
If you thought Memento teased your mind, try savouring Inception.
It will leave you tortured, tormented, ticklish and tantalised with its mindplay all at the same time. And if you think you can actually unravel this mind-boggler in one go, you're asking for the moon. It will leave you longing for one more dekko to get the picture straight....Too many levels of reality, too many things happening and too innovative an idea.

The concept of dream-sharing was extremely fresh and was brilliantly executed. The movie was extremely fast-paced, action-packed, demanded extreme attention and eventually rewards it. This movie is one of the most rewatchable flicks ever made and has aged phenomenally. Hans Zimmer absolutely deserved an oscar for this because the music complimented the film so well.

It is really tough to go out of the box and think of a completely novel idea and execute it and Nolan has smashed the record.

When we wake, we don’t remember the beginning of the dream, what we remember are just glimpses and how we felt during that dream.
Dreams feel real when we are in, it’s only then when we wake up and realize.

Leonardo Di Caprio has played the role of an ‘Extractor’ that means he can enter into anyone’s dream for extracting some information. But things change when a businessman hires him to plant an idea in the competitor’s mind, which seems impossible at first.
Domm Cobb(Leonardo) somehow manages to create three dreams within dream.
Here the factor that plays most crucial and dangerous role is
TIME.
But do they really succeed? Did he died inside a dream?
For that, well you have to watch the film.

Roshan Mhatre reviewed Hush
Hush - psychological thrilling ambience
We all love to watch horror thrillers at night, though we are completely freaked out, eyes closed, sweat dropping but we love that feeling. Today, let’s review one of the most wonderful and mystery-thriller genre’s must-watch movie, American Slasher film “Hush” directed by famous Horror movies director Mike Flanagan.
With 93% rating on Rotten tomatoes, this is surely among the top for horror movie fans like you and me.

Incredible cast, unique plot twists/turns, and above all else, an extremely satisfying ending. Most horror movies leave you requiring more. Regardless of whether it’s questions, plot holes, or plain dissatisfaction, normally there’s going to be something you can criticize at the end of the movie. That’s not the case with Hush.

Flanagan’s notable ability of building intriguing and suspense tension uplifts the rating from A to A+.
The simple title is enough to draw you in, and just based on that description alone, pretty much, you practically already know this film is going to be guaranteed interesting.

One of the most important point, that you will also agree is that the feel of the movie is so realistic, it didn’t had those iconic killers or killer looks.
And that is really very hard to accomplish and is appreciable.

They made the characters not dumb (which is basically everything in the horror movie industry), you will feel the thrill, the horror and the nervousness in your veins- you’d wish for it to stop but you can’t because you’ll love the thrill and you’d wish to see the ending.

Spoilers ahead:
This movie focuses on a deaf woman, (and hearing is so important), who's life is in danger trying to evade a crazy killer stalking and targeting her? That's literally insane! Though not insanely gory, the kills and gore is real graphic and convincing, and you're on edge the whole time hoping for the women to make it out alive as you get closer towards the end as she keeps barely surviving! This film is legitimately the perfect mystery and suspense slasher sure to leave you smiling out of enjoyment and leaving another 5-star review just like all of the other ones! (And just one tiny spoiler, but kind of to be expected, when the woman defeats the killer in the end which I won't say how to not spoil too much, it is so dang satisfying to see him get his rightful comeuppance)!

So definitely give it a try, You’d love it!!
