Conspiracies unthread
Bose:Dead or alive is a web series concieved by Ekta Kapoor on her digital platform, Alt Balaji. It stars Rajkumar Rao, Naveen Kasturia and others.

Subash Chandra Bose was one of the greatest leaders India might have ever produced in its freedom struggle. He had done almost everything to ruin the british struggle, and in fact had some of it. But there's one thing that still remains mysterious, i.e, his death. No one knows the secret behind his death. And this secret has been dealt in this web series, over a span of nine episodes.

Plotline & Screenplay:
The plot deals with the mysterious disapperance of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose, and also narrates the various incidents that had occured with him when he was trying to start an uprising, in a non-linear narrative.

The narrative might confuse you a bit but you have to keep a track of the dates. Very much like history. All the events are true, though some of them have been presented in a fictionalised manner. It is an interesting one, and gets you gripping right from the very beginning. You can't just afford to miss a single moment, all thanks to a gripping screenplay. The screenplay is very tight, and does not waste any time on melodrama and romance. Nothing of that sort. Nice work!

Acting:
Special praises to Rajkumar Rao who again effectively potrays this role, with much ease. His emotions look very realistic and apt to the point. Naveen Kasturia is also very good, as a helpless police officer. All the other cast did a fine job.

Direction, Music:
Pulkit has done a good job in directing the series. The music was fine and I'd say, just OKAY.

Verdict:
Must watch for all those patriots and history lovers. If you do not fall under any of this category, you can still watch it for the stellar performance of Rajkumar Rao. I bet you'll love it.

Suriya is as magnifique as ever.
The plot follows a police officer who deals with local mafias, business tycoons, smugglers, all the while concealing his identity. Suriya again shows he still could play his roles effectively and with style. He is stylish and daring as Singham. Just don't insult the pride of India and the pride of Indian Police, or better face the consequences. The plot is good, but not satisfying. Somewhere the plotholes are filled by unnecessary humour and mocking dialogues. Rest of the cast does a good job. However, I felt the direction and cinematography was really indulgent and shaky at aprts. But it would'nt be a negative point. You can watch the film for its action and humour, and specially, its pride.

Very psycho
Anniyan is a 2005 S. Shankar directorial film starring Chiyaan Vikram, Prakash Raj and Vivek in prominent roles.

This film is unique and one of the first few psychological thrillers dealing with multiple personality disorders. A man suffers with MPD and embarks on a race to punish those who misuse their powers for their own benefits. The plot might seem to be a bit complicated, but it issimple to get along with. You might find the logic used to be a bit irrelevant, but it's no issue.

Chiyaan Vikram nails all of his roles. As a innocent man, to a lover, to a killer, he is just awesome. I can't describe his performance because my words fall short. He is the protagonist, antagonist, everything a lead role deserves. Prakash Raj as the police officer is good to watch. A short but sufficient role. Vivek provides the much effective comic timing.

Shankar is fabulous. India really needs more such directors and is proud to have one. A.R. Rahman's music is good, but not much addictive.

Overall, a much praise deserving thriller with all sorts of commercial elements a film needs. I must watch I'd say.

Impeccable performances with an average plot
Kaala is the story of the leader who could go to any length to protect his people. He gets challenged by a politician who wants to acquire his land to meet his causes. What happens after their chaallenges forms the rest of the story.

The performances of the cast are brilliant. Rajnikanth is stylish as ever. I don't know how he could nail such extreme roles with such an audacity and expertise. No one else could have done justice to his role. Nana Patekar is good to watch to. He plays his part well of a villanous politician. He effectively delivers his dialogues with a sturd in it. Sampath Raj is also good. Pankaj Tripathi could have been given a beteer role owing to his talent. Huma Qureshi was good, but I felt her role was just to provide a romantic and melodramatic layer to the story.

P.A Ranjith does his job well. THe writing could have been better. The film has such a good talent, but lacks a good story. The screenplay was fine. Music was Okay. Overall, you can watch the film only for its top-notch performances. But if you are expecting a perfect plot, stop expecting.

Performanes and music say it loud
Balakrishna is good to watch. But the main show is being stolen by the great Jagapathi Babu in his first negative role. He truly nails that role. I am dissatisfied with the role Bhrahmanandam was given. Such a talent should'nt be left unutilised. The cast has some actors from the bollywod fame. But that really wasn't much necessary. Nevertheless, it was okay. The plot is very simple, but overpowered by a thick layer of melodrama, family problems and revenge shouts. Overall, a one time watch.

A Motivating Plot
This film is going to teach you how to happily live life, instead of being sophisticated. The first thing I would like to praise the film about is its cinematography and location settings. It has beautifully captured the scenaric Ooty.

Now, coming on to the plot. It is actually quite humorous and disturbing though. Individuals have to travel a long way to deliver a dead body and get another, as both of them have been replaced. There is a good humour which is placed perfectly and it is there only at those points where it is required. There is no unnecesary fitting of humour. The dialogues are good. They are humorous, they are touching, they are sweet. They are good and apt to the plot.

The music is good. It might not be worth remembering, but is apt to the scene and is tuneful to hear.

The direction is good. All praises for the cinematography and the hardships which the technical crew might have gone through.

All the performances of the cast is great. I would say that Irrfan Khan is the lead actor. He just nails the show with his perfect comic timing and soulful performance. Dulqueer Salman' debut is good to watch. He did a good job. Mithila Parker was also good.

Overall, the film is a living experience for all those depression-ers and even for everyone, I'd say. Watch it for its natural cinematography.

Will Smith and Joel Edgerton savour a fantasy based plot.
The plot is set in an alternate world, where humans, orcs, elves and fairies live together. A new threat emerges and two buddy cops are assigned on it. And the story goes on and on. The film is quite predictable, but enjoyable. You will enjoy the film because of the raw humour in it, and the fresh performances of Will Smith and Joel Edgerton. The songs are good. David Ayer has done a good job. His writing could have been better. But it was fine.

Revenge classique
Shahid Kapoor is in best form. He rocks in both of his roles, as a student and a psychopath. The plot is very relevant to the scenario in Kashmir, and Vishal Bhardwaj beautifully sews it into a full fledged perfect plot. Kay Kay Menon rocks in his role, not to be discussed here. Tabu is again magnifique. She conveys her emotions perfectly. The direction, cinematography is top notch. The songs could have been more mesmerizing. But overall, the film is a classique.

Comedy Drama with repetitive plot
Ravi Teja savours this boring fantasy comedy drama on his shoulders with his comedic performance. Brahmnandam is good to watch, though he could have been given a much better role owing to his perfect comic timing. The plot is inspired by fantasies and the other cast was not so good, but just watchable.

A not so enjoyable spy flick
Anil Sharma introduces his son to the bollywood, but lets him down with a lazy writing. Even Nawazzudin cannot savour this drowning film.
Not at all watchable. The songs might be good, but not worth remembering.
