Reviews & Ratings for
Tomorrowland (2015)

updated
Disney has presented many brilliant movies and this is not one of them. Tomorrowland starts off by giving us a promise to show something brilliant and magnificient but fails to keep up the promise, just like in the movie where the lead characters are promised something spectacular but end up getting nothing. A good concept is converted into a lame movie. The screenplay was too weak that the audience were left confused in some places. They chose to spend a lot of time in the character development and ended rushing up the rest of the movie.

A visually thrilling adventure
Tomorrowland is everything you can ask for in a sci-fi movie. The movie itself tackles so many things that are real; it makes you believe in the impossible in a very sweet way.
With a duo such as George Clooney and Hugh Laurie, the film is an out of the world experience in itself. While a lot of theories sound probable, and a lot of them don't you can still make some sense through it all. Tomorrowland does show a glimpse of our future days and how millions of dreamers can make this world better.
Disney loves CGI effects, and it was prevalent in Tomorrowland as well, and in a very mesmerizing way, it was a joyride.
The main turn off was that the plot progression was a little to rushed (Spoilers ahead) I would have liked to know more about Nix's army, more about Tomorrowland itself. More about Frank and Athena but I wasn't given that.

However, with all the minus points Tomorrowland still managed to pack a reality punch and closed the whole plot leaving behind nothing but warm, fuzzy feelings. I would suggest Tomorrowland as a one time watch with the whole family on board. Tomorrowland will not only appeal to kids, but to adults as well.

Huge Exceptions let down
A solid film with unclear intentions and an apparent lack of a primary protagonist. #oneTimeWatch Tomorrowland boasts some excellent visual appeal, but sadly it does nothing to mask the multitude of faults found in the story, including a poor structure and a severely underwhelming conclusion.

Just another reason why I hate my occasional addiction to anticipate things.
