Tiger is actually Back!!!!
Tiger Zinda Hai is a film co-written and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The trailers of this indicated that Salman Khan will return to what he is known for. And after seeing the film, I can say that Bhai has definitely returned.

Plot: Tiger is contacted by his ex-boss Shenoy to save 25 Indian nurses from a hospital in Ikrit, Iraq where they are kept hostage by ISC chief Abu Usman.

Story and direction: To be very honest, I am a Salman Khan fan. Yes, his films celebrate his stupidity and idiocracy in the most grand way possible. But the Sallu fans out there will agree with me that they are entertaining. From Salman's entry in the film we know that this is a Salman Khan film and we just have to go with the flow. Kudos to Ali Abbas for actually celebrating what is best about Salman. The story, yes, is based on original events and also has been tweaked to suit Salman's character (Many people happened to be very angry at the film tarnishing events of the orginal incident). But I don't care. I have come to a Salman Khan film to be entertained and yes I was. Every shot of the film looks very unique and the set design is quite awesome, especially of the hospital and oil mine. The stunts in the film are also good but there are some scenes where you still consider the stunts to be faked or acried out by a body double. That's basically the main issue with this film and with any other Salman film. There are many places where reality is thrown out of the window and we have many cliches that were kind of guessable. Also there were many scenes where you feel that Katrina was being sexualized. And there were lines said in the film that were said in another language and were dubbed in Hindi just for the convenience of the audiences. That was a thing that I didn't like. Subtitles could have been put in those scenes with the original language.

Performances: It's Salman Khan all the way. Yes, I do agree that he still doesn't know how to act (which I clearly visible in many scenes) but he doesn't keep the entertainment down for even one second. Katrina Kaif also did quite a fair job and she was quite awesome in the action scenes. Paresh Rawal was kind of the small cherry on top of the cake. Angad Bedi too delivered a good performance, that was not kind of expected from him. The love of movies is definitely visible on Kumud Mishra's face and that's why I love him in roles that he portrays (thank god he is not the Jar Jar Binks of this film). Anant Sharma who plays Karan in the film too did a fair job. Girish Kannad and Siddhartha Basu too deserve some praise. And finally, Sajjad Delafrooz. This man deserves an applause. His cold looks give me chills many times. Hats Off to this man for pulling off this charcater of Abu Usman.

Music: Vishal-Shekhar also did quite a fair job in the music department but they have done better than this. 'Dil Diyan Gallan' was my favorite track. Julius Packaim background score was very average and he stuck to Tiger's tune in many scenes which was unbearable to hear after a point.

Favorite Scene: The scene where RAW and ISI agents decide whether to fight against the common enemy struck a chord with me. The subtle humor in that scene and the message that border is just a line between two countries just sat with me in that scene.

Verdict: I can say that Salman has definitely redeemed himself post Tubelight. He should stick to thses kind of films. I don't know whether it is Salman or something else, Ali Abbas Zafar tends to deliver another blockbuster considering Gunday was a big dud for me. This film was a great addition to the Tiger film series and if there are more I am ready for it. If you are not a Salman fan don't watch it.

I am going with a 7.5/10.

Lets just start with Bhai. The film is a far-fetched, brazen and unapologetic paean to the stardom of Salman Khan, showcasing him as the ultimate action hero. Right from his ‘entry’ scene complete with the trademark scarf and his one-on-one with a pack of wolves to him single-handedly taking on an entire army of terrorists, a la Rambo, with his shirt customarily off.
Well there is nothing more than Bhai here. Bhai Bhai

Bhai is sleepwalking, hollow side characters, low on humor and any music worth remembering, cliche moments, this one is a lengthy bore. But Bhai's starpower is enough to propel into 300+ crore club

A little too long but good action scenes. I knew what I was going to get and didn't have any special expectations.
