In the opening episode, Kunal Kapoor describes the show as the one capturing "royal legacy of Hindustan," and he delivers as great of a show as precise his statement. Kunal is one of the best narrators TVF could have cast to host a culture based food show, all credit to his amicable and candid approach when conversing with the guides, experts and local restaurateurs. He possesses plenty knowledge of his own as well, that he doesn't hesitate sharing.

The production team deserves credit for picking out charming locations. The cherry on top is the director's ability to capture great angles and edit in brilliant segues, almost making the viewer want to drop everything and spring right to the shot's location.

Show also dives deep into the each dish's history. While flaws are hard to find, the only improvement could be a more engaging presentation of information, like prompting 'fun facts' and tips at the bottom of the screen. Nevertheless, I actually ended up learning a lot. The Royal Palate is a highly recommended watch.

One thing that has always fascinated me is royalty. I remember watching ‘Khoobsurat’ and being charmed by the royal lifestyle and their traditions. Another thing which is famous about the royalty is their cooking secrets. The seven episode series of ‘The Royal Palate’ presented by the celebrity chef Kunal Kapur in association with TVF and Behrouz Biryani discovers the secrets of the royal kitchens and their culinary enigmas. The extensive research done by chef Kapur for this show is really commendable and deserves applause for his dedication towards this show. Being a foodie, this entire show was a treat to my eyes.

The Royal Palate is a refreshing take on a" Food " based reality show. But mind you, these dishes are nothing common but it tells of a different journey. Hosted by masterchef fame chef Kunal Kapoor and co-hosted by famous tv and youtube personalities, it's a beautiful blend of history, culture and loads of spices. As the title suggests "Royal Palate", it revolves around unearthing the lost and the hidden culinary secrets and dishes of the Royals of India. There are 7 episodes in total and the best part, each episode is dedicated to a specific Royal dish, from tracing it's origin to it's evolution, you name it and they have it. It's raw, original and brilliantly scripted. I have never enjoyed myself so much. The journey was heartwarming and the anecdotes that were shared on this course made it even more bingeworthy. India is known for it's diversity and honestly, this shows delivers exactly that. It depicts diversity and variety and above all the rich culture of food and how we must celebrate and preserve it! It's a must watch if you are a foodie or a religious follower of masterchef Australia, but, worry not, you can watch it for it's fresh content and mouth-watering dishes too. Trust me you won't be disappointed. You can easily watch it on Youtube under the banner of TVF. And it's also available on TVF play.

Just like our television cookery shows , this series is based on food. does that matter? yeah , it does! concept maybe similar to tv shows but screen play is high class. In this show , chef kapoor is interested in indian royal dishes, so he chose 7 dishes and made seven videos on them. Actually we know that chefs add ingredients to recipes but here our chef added ingredients to the show by showing about the life styles of people , that part is #entertaining . the stress taken by chef to travel all the places is #quotable and it's an #mustWatch series for #food lovers. This even helps to people living in other regions to know about them and that really helps some times as well as the culture spreads.

According to my personal experience, in the first episode “kebabs of Lucknow” the editor’s work was remarkable; it was top notch and beats the best in the business. Although, right now, I’m not sure whether I love it or hate it – love it because it’s so amazing or hate it because it makes me feel miserable about not being there.
