The biggest issue with both kissing booth films are the characters their is not a single good, relatable or likeable character in any of these films, The actors are fine and I'm sure they could be much better if they actually had a good script to work with but they don't, The kissing booth 2 isn't has bad as the first but its still one of the worst teen Netflix films I have seen to date, Elle and Noah are just a horrible couple and I'm truly sad the film didn't go the surprising direction and have her end up with Marco who despite being a bland character seemed much more suitable for Elle than Noah, Elle is jealous of a girl named Chloe throughout the film and even though we find out their was never anything going on between Chloe and Noah the way the two act around each other in the film makes that really hard for me to believe they are constantly acting like more than just friends and as much as I hate Elle I can understand why she thought their was something going on between them, Lee is even worse in this film than in the first constantly being a horrible boyfriend to Rachel and being a selfish friend to Elle, Elle and Lee are best friends yet the two of them never tell each other anything Lee doesn't tell Elle the truth about needing a break from her and Elle doesn't tell Lee the truth about wanting to go to Harvard its ridiculous, The gay plot line in the film is handled terribly and shouldn't have been their at all since they don't get more than 5 minutes screen time together, The ending is predictable and unsatisfying and overall The kissing booth 2 is a terrible mess and I cant believe its 2 hours long.

The Kissing Booth 2 is a sequel to The Kissing Booth. Honestly, I found this a tad better then the first part.

Elle, the protagonist is now a senior in high school struggling to make grades meet while maintain her long distance relationship with her long time boyfriend Noah who's gone off to college. Everything starts crumbling once insecurities creep in leaving a lot of relationships at stake.

The movie in one word is cute. Nothing more, nothing less. It tends to give the same vibe and story line as that of "To all the boys I've loved before." I love how they kept the characters' personalities constant. The acting was on point. Though the dialogues and story plot have flaws, you tend to look past it because of how sweet and endearing the movie is. If you're a sucker for teen romantic movies, this will surely end up being one of your guilty pleasures.
