When two chefs make the same pasta:
Yes the first half is slow with is so much cliche' 'I am Assembling a team' drag, but Superman going the 'mofo' mode is one of the best 120 seconds I have seen in recent CBM history. The movie ain't that bad as critics feel so, it has some great moments. I wished Snyder stuck to his ways and not try to be politically correct which pulls back the narrative a bit: a single film trying to please all of the people some of the time.
For story and characters, there is nothing new to offer, Hollywood definitely needs to come up with Good villains with right motivations. Only WB execs know what went behind the scene and how much Snyder's work we got to see in the end, but this cocktail does seem rushed with last-minute formatting. You can figure out scenes shot be Whedon, all those Team chatter scenes.
But nevertheless, watch it for Superman. You won't be disappointed.

I believe you are bit parsimonious in giving star. 4 * would have been better as I watched it yesterday

Justice is yet to be served!
Justice League, it could have been a flawed masterpiece or a total entertainer, but with lots of upheaval at WB and DC, no one expected this to be a… MEH.
I have been waiting for JUSTICE LEAGUE since the 90’s… All these awesome characters on screen, combined they are way more famous than the Avengers… but how the tables have turned…
The plot is VERY VERY similar to Josh Whedon’s avengers (He finished this film). A portal opens and villain with a pointy weapon slaughters a bunch of people setting of the events. The villain then looks for a way to permanently open the portal / combine the boxes to create hell on earth….
This movie is like Avengers 1 and 2 combined to form some unholy monster.
But enough about the bad parts… lets come to the good bits…
The heroes are GREAT! Batman settles in his role far better… Wonder Woman keeps up her charisma, fierce good looks mixed with compassion and elegance… The Flash is good as the goofy comic relief. Aqua man and Cyborg are underdeveloped with aquaman taking on a bit more articulate Hulk / Drax the destroyed role in the team.
The Marvel influence on the film is obvious.
Last but not the least (spoilers)
Superman… His resurrection scene is the best scene in the movie. Way better than the ending fight. The scene where the Flash is running past him and his eyes follow the flash… got a LOT of cheers from the audience… somehow how STRONG superman is, made the scene so much better.
But superman comes back as a vengeful god, but the moment he sees LOIS, he cools down fast, WAY too fast without any corresponding event or action, he is then grateful to batman who he was willing to murder a few moments ago… same problem as in BvS and the Martha scene…
As for the climax of the film, its generic, not as drawn out as Avengers 2 and not as cool as Avengers 1, the climax really had only ONE family who seemed to be at peril! It was such a no show; I wonder what the original scriptwriters had imagined.
Overall :

This movie is short with a running time of 120 mins. BUT still the opening 45 mins are a HUGE drag with no anticipation or proper tense buildup… its watchable, better than suicide squad and BvS.
Due to Josh Whedon’s work, there are a LOT more jokes that work, the inter hero scenes are GOLD. The movie is worth watching solely due to those scenes. The editing IS choppy at times, BUT not as bad as BvS and overall, despite plot holes and logic gaps, the film is watchable. Some of whedon’s typical humor scenes have added a LOT to the film. It’s obvious which scenes were added later on to make the film lighter and more relatable

But HOW I wish it wasn’t just watchable, it was phenomenal… exceptional… this gave me LESS cheer than Thor Ragnarok! Imagine! A third grade rip off norse god superhero’s third film is better than Justice League!

Rating : 6.5/10. Fans will like it, non-fans might enjoy it, it’s worth watching once in theaters

Loved the Superman going 'mofo' mode. But that scene also reduced the credibility of other heroes. Now, who will watch the individual outings when they know that Supers is better than them at everything?

Also, Hollywood definitely needs to work on how to get Villains right

The OK League
Justice League is a film co-written and directed by Zack Snyder. I guess every superhero fan would have wanted this film and it is finally out. I have grown up watching the animated series of the DC characters. And the trailer of Justice League also showed that they might redeem themselves. But alas, I was wrong.

Plot: Steppenwolf wants to find the three mother boxes in Earth and it's upto a band of superheroes before its too late.

Story and direction: The film basically is 120 minutes. That is quite short for a film liked Justice League. And also that is felt in the film for many scenes. For example, like I know things that happened to Flash (courtesy tv show). But I don't what actually happened with Cyborg and Aquaman. I mean I don't want a whole kind of backstory but atleast some details could have done it. Some details are provided, but as for people who are not avid comic book readers, you feel somewhat lost. Then we have Steppenwolf. I mean except for just appearing, kicking peoples a** and taking motherboxes, he basically has nothing to do. He was the wekeat thing in this entire film. Then we have a town in the finale that has only one family. I mean I get it, that there was some radioactive explosion or something, but seriously one family!!!! They could have done with a vacant town or something like a population of 100-200 people (when Cyborg just happens to say we have resettlements going on). And the topping was Superman's face. Oh my god. Each time I felt like just turning away from the screen in those scenes. His face looked like some plastic surgery had been done. Also many things shown in the trailers were not in the film, which was disappointing. Also there is a lot of over-sexualization to the Amazonians especially Wonder Woman. That was not great at all. But its not all bad. There is some good. I liked the characterizations behind Aquaman and Barry Allen. The tone for those characters were very light and provided some entertainment. Also great were introduction to Green Lantern universe. The battles fought were awesome. My jaw dropped almost every time. The Superman ressurection was great. A special mention to Danny Elfman for his score especially the Batman tune that evoked many memories.

Performances: Ben Affleck was again wonderful as Batman. The same can be said for Gal Gadot. I liked her in her solo venture and so in this film. Jason Mamoa was perfect for Aquaman and so as Ezra Miller as The Flash. Henry Cavill did quite good although much wasn't given to him. Same can also be said for Amy Adams and Diane Lane. Liked J K Simmons as Jim Gordon and hope to see him in future films. Jeremy Irons too was perfect again as Alfred.

Favorite Scene: Easily would be the meeting between Lois and Clark after Clark's resurrection. The emotion that flowed in that scene just touched my heart.

Verdict: To be very fair, Justice League is a one time watch. It was not the film I wanted but it is not a bad film too. It can come in the OK category. I don't know how many films are yet there in the DCEU but they seriously have to get their gear moving and stop imitiating the MCU. It's just high time.

I would go with a 6/10.

Unfairly Criticized
“Something Dark is not coming Bruce its already here”
Superman is dead. So is the hope of the world. Superman was the beacon of hope for the world showing that Good truly exists in this cruel modern world. With Superman’s death, comes Steppenwolf to take advantage of the instability in the World and gather his three Mother Boxes to unleash the Mother i.e. Darkseid on Earth. Bruce Wayne aka Batman with the help of Diana Prince (Wonder Woman) must recruit Barry Allen (The Flash), Arthur Curry (Aquaman) and Victor Stone (Cyborg) to defend the world against Steppenwolf’s invasion.
Okay first things first. Justice League is a pretty decent movie with some really good action scenes. Also, the performances by the cast is good notably Ezra Miller and Gal Gadot. The story is also simple and good. Now comes the tricky part. CGI was terrible to say the least. The movie was really short with a run time of 2 hours. Character Development was something that took the hardest hit due to run time. The mix-up of the Directorial techniques of Zack Snyder and Joss Whedon (who had to step in when Zack Snyder opted out due to family issues) really did more damage to the film than good. Also, certain ideas used repeatedly in the film (like Batman having no actual Superpowers, Superman and hope, etc) were a bit annoying. Overall Justice League was a fair attempt by Snyder and Warner Bros to put the demons of Batman vs Superman behind them and puts them in the right track for the progress of the DC Cinematic Universe.

So, far best DC universe film. The scenes reshot by Joss Whedon did a great job making the movie more entertaining. If Zack Snyder would not have bought Joss into the team, the whole film wouldn't have some positive reviews. The film has some loopholes but they can be ignored.
The film has overly used CGI and less used villain. Although the film does look like that you are watching a cartoon in HD.
Acting: Everyone did their expected jobs.
Direction: If it wasn't for Joss, the film would have been boring.
Cinematography and technicalities: Overly used CGI and the camera work was good.
Final Verdict: The film is watchable with friends, you will not get bored and confused like Dawn of Justice.
I give 8/10.

A DC film worth enjoying (IMAX) despite its loopholes
The movie jumps right into the action from the beginning. The opening action sequence was breathtaking. The team chemistry looks fantastic. Aquaman sitting on Lasso was my favorite scene. This will probably be the coolest Superman you will ever see. The movie was a lighthearted entertainer and viewing it on IMAX was totally worth it. The Audience was actually hooting and clapping and I enjoyed the movie despite its flaws.
Talking of flaws, it is not the Justice League you might have expected. Fans/critics had huge expectations from this one and their disappointment is totally justified. The movie is rushed in 2 hrs with practically no villain. There is no sense of urgency or tension and at the end, the movie felt like an episode of a TV show season (Oh!! is villain really dead).
Being said that, I personally think that bad reviews floating shouldn't stop you from enjoying it on the big screen. It's not even close to perfect but that is all we have for Justice League and it's definitely something considering the DC films past.

They just made it bare minimum watchable and movies like this are expected to have top notch CGI but it was pretty average with this one.
