The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014)

The movie is set in late 1800s or early 1900s. As you expect from the title of the movie, movie has some extravagance of a hotel to show. Started on a lighter note, it starts becoming suspense and thrill with little comedy and action. The french style, the quick movements, the gothic buildings and biblical fonts amaze you. Entire movie is set in a cold snowy environment. Each scene has a little comedy touch. And of course, the background score adds to the beauty of it. Nice direction, especially the instantaneous camera zooms from the white snow to the actors. For those, who love happy endings, the movie won't upset. In all, good movie, watchable.

Think I might like this more than Fantastic Mr. Fox... Right from the first cupule of shots i knew i was gonna like this the unique cinematography, the sound design, costumes, and classics Wes Anderson feel were just amazing I never expected i would laugh this much, man i love this movie.,

It is not a very hollwoodish movie, not something typical. A great new concept that gives major Charlie Chaplin era vibes. Nut cracker vibes. A silent movie that makes all mind go bongers.

Watched this exceptionally good movie accidently on a train journey. And had dreams of this fantastic movie. What a brilliant piece of story. Adventurous and connected story. I sweet love little story too. a must watch. great piece of cinematography too. I like it and would refer everyone to watch it once before you die.
