Reviews & Ratings for
Tenet (2020)

Hip version of time based sci fi
I think Christopher Nolan went overboard with the concept of time travel and created a confusing mess. Did I enjoyed watching it - yes. Did I understand it - no. Do I want to go ahead and read wiki and watch video for explanation - not worth it.

Tenet
I didn't see Tenet in theatres just to be on the safe side since my boyfriend has diabetes and is in the risk group so I didn't watch it for the first time until a few days ago and I must say for a Christopher Nolan film this was a little disappointing. Tenet is definitely an ambitious film and it does get many things right but overall this was a bit to much for me, I didn't understand what was going on until halfway through and when I started catching on I had a difficult time getting fully invested, Now don't get me wrong this film is still really good and the action sequences are phenomenal, The visual effects are stunning and the inverted scenes are definitely fascinating, The acting is also really strong and Robert Pattinson is in my opinion one of Hollywood's most underrated actors, Tenet is a confusing mess of a film and like I said I did struggle being 100 Percent invested but Tenet is a really good time and without a doubt one of most gorgeous looking films of 2020.

TENET
Tenet is your classic globetrotting spy film with a little more sprinkled in. It has stunning massive set Pieces, coupled with gorgeous cinematography, and funny, smart, and witty characters. It was really really fun JD Washington, Robert Pattinson, Kenneth Brangah, and Elizabeth Debicki do amazing jobs at this. But I don’t love it as much as Chris Nolan’s other films. Something that I have been afraid of and still am for Nolan’s movies is the sense of spectacle over shadowing heart and the human emotion. This film definitely has some emotion mainly in Elizabeth Debicki’s character. But I feel like there should have been some of that in JD Washington’s character. There are other small things like the inability to hear some of the characters over the loud but still amazing score by Ludwig göransson. But pleas don’t let that keep you from watching this movie it is beautiful thrilling and just a great cinematic experience to come back to the theaters.
