As I expected, the story is pretty guessable and obvious... It would be too harsh to expect a solid storyline from a "dance-movie" like Step Up. And of course, there was a lot of hip-hop and cool dance. The first dance scene at the very starting was impressive and kind of unique (there were Cars dancing around :P ). However the dancing-level went on a bit of low-side thereafter. But the last dancing sequence was really good and enjoyable too.
Personally, I liked the concept of "The MOB" and dancing at random and unexpected places.
Watch if You are very much into dance or just to chill out with your friends (like I did! :-) ;-) )

Fun Watch
Every following Step Up is always better than previous one. And it should be, because this sets a standard for a movie series.
Step Up 4 or Step Up Revolution was again a great package. Dance out of the world or i should the best you can see. I love Step up and and i'll keep on loving it if they'll make such a great stuff.
Unlike Indian Dance centric movies Step Up is not just Dance but a incredible package of great music, acting, story and Dance the best part.
Producers Adam Shankman and Jennifer Gibgot have even moved forward with Step Up 4. They have smelled the taste of success with their previous installments but this was even better.
