As all of you probably know this is a prequel to Spartacus: Blood and Sand.
This season is also full of blood and sex but less than in Blood and Sand.
The plot is more complex and more gripping than before. The actors play their roles perfectly.
In short, this gratuitous mash of beautiful people, fight scenes, political undertones is brilliant. Watch it for what it is and you will not be disappointed.
