A classic film i used to watch with my dad on tv when i didn't even knew what it it 😂😂
Well what can i tell plot is pretty much predictable
But u will find some good friendship

I don't think there would be any person in India who would have not heard about this movie let alone watch. This movie is #actionpacked , #classic and the most #entertaining movie of Retro Bollywood. You can literally watch it for hours continuously. It includes #revenge game between Thakur (Sanjeev Kumar) and Gabbar ( Amjad Khan) . While Jai (Amitabh Bachchan) and Veeru ( Dharmendra) are the goons hired by Thakur to help him fight Gabbar and save his village from the terror spread by Gabbar. This movie has everything comedy, action, romance everything. The most famous dialogue of all would be Gabbar's - " KITNE AADMI THE?" This movie is a #mustWatch in case you haven't seen it which I doubt very much would never be the case if you are an Indian.

Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra and Hema Malini are absolutely fantastic in this. This is my first 70's era Bollywood film, and I am beginning to understand the aura and cool associated with Amitabh Bachchan.

I watched this with my brother-in-law who was visiting for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. He was laughing and commenting along to his first Bollywood film. "Are they ALL like this?" "Oh, no, crazy eyes!" "The shoes, the shoes!" "Seventies slow-mo, and every cliche is now complete." "It's really a Western -- there's even cacti!"

So, I didn't watch this alone, and my impressions are tainted by his constant commentary. I can understand why this film is iconic and a classic, but since I didn't grow up with it, the dialogues don't have the same effect on me. I had to see it, as so many people reference it, and it's quoted about as much as Scarface and The Godfather are in America.

The music is great, and some scenes are truly unforgettable -- especially Hema dancing on the broken glass while Dhamendra is bound. But I really don't get the whole Hitler warden prison sequence, and the movie could have done without it. The movie is long enough, and Hema/Dharmendra provided enough comic relief.

Truly a bromance for the ages!

Be it Surma bhopali, Kalia, Sambha, Basanthi, her tanga - dhanno, thakur ji or the villain Ghabbar, the movie is incomplete without even any one of them.
Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra were the heart of this movie.
This is a film which has everything in it - be it comedy, tragedy, action, romance, thriller. Its a complete pack of entertainment.
