A Dark Coffee Which Is Not For Everyone!
Anurag Kashyap + Nawazuddin Siddiqui + Vicky Kaushal = Awesomeness. After seeing the trailer, you just knew that Anurag is back! Whenever the Gangs Of Wasseypur duo comes for a movie, it's gonna be epic. The film is intense, disturbing in some parts, but has a soul to it. Nawazuddin nails the role to perfection. But the surprise package is Vicky Kaushal. His performance is just stunning. He is almost at par with Nawaz. If you have watched Masaan, you know this lad is brilliant. Anurag is undoubtedly the best person to make crime/ thriller movies in India. Not everyone's cup of tea.

Rat and cat have their own dominance.
Nawaz is always great to watch, and I have been a die hard fan of him. Such talent should get more dominance in bollywood. Because the way he nails his role as the psycho killer is dreadful and creepy. Anurag Kashyap tries something new and leaves you awestruck. Vicky Kaushal as the cop is daring to watch. He has shown a lot of talent of his ever since his debut in bollywood with Neeraj Ghaywan's directorial, Masaan. Overall, a must not watch for all weak hearts, 'cause it's creepy as hell.

This movie is not going to give you any lesson of life. But it is worth a watch if you like to taste a dark phase of life. The script has been divided into several chapters, and the filming has been done accordingly. You will get to see the same dark criminal plot of Anurag's films, but with a darker shade. There is nothing like mercy & pity in it. The brilliant performances of Nawazuddin Siddiqui & Vicky Kausal are alone able to make you addict of these dark cult films.

Savage.
Raman Raghav 2.0 marks the comeback of Anurag Kashyap after the debacle of Bombay Velvet. Initially, it was touted to be a biopic of Ramanna-the infamous serial killer of Mumbai. As the producers refused to provide him more than 5 crores, he went on to make a modern day crime saga with Ramanna's killer antics. Instead of keeping the same story, Anurag diluted the story instead, whatwith the innovation of Raghav as a drug addict policeman whose characterisation was complex and dirty. The movie is expressed in chapters just like his masterpiece, 'Black Friday'. Nawazuddin steals the show with the realistic portrayal of Ramanna. Vicky Kaushal as Raghavan is equally good. He gets enough screen time to showcase his talent. This movie is really a game changer for him. He manages to get noticed in spite of sharing the screen space with Nawaz. RR 2.0 marks the acting debut of Sobhita Dhulipala and the casting director, Mukesh Chhabra. Kashyap keeps it raw wifh the locales of slum areas and offbeat songs. He also puts a complex angle about how actually Ramanna is attracted to Raghavan as they both shared something in common. During the second half, it gets a little boring with unnecessary elongation of certain scenes. It already received standing ovasion in International Film Festivals. The above line speaks everything. Maybe it's not his best, but definitely it's a sure shot Winner.
