Penguins of Madagascar (2014)

I was excited to watch this movie because of the opportunity to see more of the penguins personality and movie does not disappoint in that goal. Skipper's confidence brings a smile while Private entertains by his complete devotion to the captain. The other two are busy in gobbling stuff which adds an element of Tom&Jerriness. Dave the villain reminds me of the villain of the Incredibles. He is not pure evil and bring humor scenes which makes one laugh loudly. Specially his "minions" have first names of movie stars and coupling them with action verbs bring out the star's full name. This concept was used in the Hindi movie "Entertainment". I am not sure who copied whom. There are four more central characters of the team - "North Wind". There characters lacked depth and not much was shown about them. That is the reason I rated the movie 7. In the end, the movie is about Private's full acceptance in the team as a valuable soldier. There are moments when you feel that movie lacks originality and there were parallels from the movie "Despicable Me" & "The Incredibles" Overall a good watch with lots of laugh and titillation :)

This may be just a run-of-the-mill CG flick - a sequel, silly story, talking animals, celebrity casting, a few jokes about pop culture or toilets with a legit toot.

However, it's one of the most bonkers films I've seen this year and I do not apologise for enjoying it so much.
