Even if film crew denis but i know for sure that this movie potrays the demonish underworld gangster [u know him😬]
Plot is decent but the way ajay devgan sir wins the heart of our fenale lead it is something i never thought of [it might be that i am not so smart😂😂]

Loved Randeep Hooda in this as the cop who tries to commit suicide in the beginning and narrates the events of the film. Not so impressed with everyone else. Just didn't grip me, especially the weaselly Emraan Hashmi.

Whoa! A breath taking movie which will keep you wondering why such movies are produced so rarely in Bollywood. The movie depicts the 1970s underworld stories of Mumbai between Haji Mastan and Dawood Ibrahim portrayed as Sultan Mirza (Ajay Devgan) and Shoib (Emran Hashmi). It highlights a story of a gangster who never in his life killed a single human and still managed to rule over the city. Sultan Mirza moved to Mumbai as a small kid with nothing other than a coal-dark face in a ship from Tamil Nadu to Mumbai. He starts off as a labour and on the back of his immense hard work, sheer determination, kind heart and style of work and becomes the unspoken leader of the city by solving issues between all the gangsters.
Ajay Devgan and Emran Hashmi are brilliant in grabbing eyballs with their scintillating dialogues and act. This movie will always be remembered for the script written by Rajat Arora and the dialogues of the movie which can be seen adapted by many people around us. The story is much inclined towards the emotional side of Sultan Mirza and not the action and explosion scenes. Shoib as from his childhood wants to grow high and to fulfill his ambitions can go to any extent makes him an interesting character who is unprincipled and rotten to the core in his unbridled struggle for power.
The actresses Kangana Ranaut as Rehana with whom Sultan falls in love is also a depiction from Haji Mastan's real life. Also, Sonam Kapoor does a decent job as a shy showroom girl named Mumtaz who is Shoib's love. Randeep Hooda too suits to the job of a helpless COP to perfection.
After, few ordinary performances, Ekta Kapoor delivers a flawless production which consists of almost everything from a compelling story to crisp and state-of-the-art dialogues. Although, the disclaimer at the beginning shows that it has no connection with Haji Mastan's real life, but the intensity with which the movie is shoot clearly keep you glued in front of the screen. All in all this movie comprises of substance and soul, so don't miss it!
