Romantical Musicals your jam, this should be on your list
The story of a guy (budding guitarist and singer) and a girl(good pianist) and their eventful week in Dublin.
So this movie has been one of the best modern day musicals and a very refreshing background score and music makes it worthy of the Oscar it received for Best Achievement in Music written beating August Rush the same year.
An immigrant finds a wannabe singer in the streets and what follows is a bunch of jamming sessions, some wonderful memories and heartwarming love stories.
The songs keep on ringing in your ears and their stories which they narrate in a sing-song manner are mesmerising and at the same time not too mushy and fake looking
You feel genuine chemistry between the guy and the girl and as their recordings get better, you sway to their tunes and feel as if you are enjoying music straight from the heart with romance not overwhelming enough which makes it a simplistic and real movie
Watch it if a feel-good movie with less mushiness is what you are looking for and can relate to romance through lyrics of a song rather than normal words.

Breathtakingly poignant musical romance
Once is a movie that arrests your attention right from the first scene when Glen Hansard's voice shakes you up in the first song. The pain in his voice is evident even before you know anything about the movie. From there on, we are introduced to the little world of two nameless musicians who bond over music.

Once is a movie made on shoe string budget using cheap cameras and that adds a new layer of visual aesthetics to the proceedings. The two lead actors do a wonderful job. Hansard is a lovable heart-broken guy and ‎Markéta Irglová plays the charming heroine. The movie is further enhanced by a stupendous soundtrack with the Oscar winning song "Falling Slowly" getting firmly etched in the heart. This movie has charm, beauty, warmth and most of all it has its heart in the right place.

The magic that occurs as soon as the two main characters meet in the music store is carried throughout the entire film. Music has always been know as the universal language, and 'Once' propels this notion into the cobbled Dublin streets, where two nursing hearts melt together through melodies and tunes. This is a movie musical like no other. It's hard for me to explain exactly what was so captivating about it: every song in this incredible soundtrack sounds more beautiful every time I listen to it, but the vulnerability and inevitability of the romance surprised me, too.
I'm told Glen Hasard and Marketa Irglova fell in love in real life while filming this movie, which is no surprise to me. This is purely Noble creation for me but telling you 50% people didn't like this movie. A brilliant piece but not for everyone.
Thank you.
