Abir Basu (Shantanu Maheshwari) is an unemotional and nonchalant boy born in a family of doctors. His father (Bijay Anand), also the best surgeon in town, wants him to be a doctor while he aspires to be a musician. Nibedita (Nityami Shirke) is Abir’s childhood friend but also his biggest competition and his father’s favourite. To remove his competition, Abir plays his tricks and tries to bog down ‘keetabi keeda’ Nibedita by setting her up with college dropout Akash. Meanwhile, he finds a way of getting better grades by giving sexual favours to his teacher played by Shruti Bapna.
Amidst all this, director Abhijit Das delves into the chaotic student life which is messed up because of upcoming mock tests and final examinations and not due to some ‘intra-collge sports competition’. We get to see a variety of students, from bookworms, overachievers, daydreamers to party animals. Das manages to capture the drama of campus life beyond its wild parties, rich vs poor fights and love triangles.
In terms of acting, Shantanu Maheshwari manages to pull off his chocolate boy role and Nityami Shirke is also good as a coy, intelligent and anxious college-goer. Shruti Bapna, as always, impresses with her performance and Bijay Anand once again aces his role of an over achieving father.
The series is hard-hitting dose of nostalgia for all the college-goers and more for the ones who have lived the hostel life. All the jugaads Abir and his friends come up with makes you laugh out loud at the absurdity yet relatability of it all. And that’s the crux and the redeemable factor of Medically Yourrs, it’s relatable and real to a whole new level, no pretense or fantasies. Medically Yourrs is a fresh breath of air, a fun take on MBBS that is entertaining and enlightening. Worth a watch.

The story revolves around the college life of medical students t KIMS in Kolkata. The protagonist, played by Shantanu Maheshwari, having been compelled by his family to study medicine, decides to please a professor of his. What follows is a chaos though, of a type he never had predicted. The best thing about the story is that it doesn't seem going even slightly overboard in its depiction of the many a glamorous ways of the college students. It keeps it a realistic which makes it relatable. Though it tends to come cheeky after a while, it still is a nice one-time watch.

Medically Yours is a Shantanu Maheshwary starring series which sheds life on the actual college and campus life of a student. For a medical student to spend 6 years of their lives in a campus they have to go through a lot which is not normally shown as the truth but only the cover-ups. It begins with Abir imagining an amazing and perfect campus life. It throws light on the ultimate pressure of studies and social life a student has to go through and all the relations and love interests ,etc., which is usually overshadowed by the glamour of the profession medical is.
They whole story line is around how a medical student grows and faces the real world and some bitter realities of life.

This Alt Balaji original targeted at the young adults is at best entertaining and really nothing more, that too, only if one chooses to refrain from searching logic. The series feast on stereotypes, and presents no effort in trying to be original. The show could have benefited from focusing more on writing and storytelling rather than asserting a series of random out of context catchphrases and glorified profanities to grab attention of "cool" teenagers.

The idea of Shantanu Maheshwari in the role of Mr. popular and privileged casanova- Abir Basu, son of a surgeon and student at KIMS ( Kolkata Institute of Medical Science) isn't absurd and he does as good a job as his innocent visage allows him to. He is smug and unpredictable, most of his actions are doltish and cynical and his best friend Nibedita (Nityami Shirke) accommodates with his tantrums while trying to maintain her high academic standards. The episodes follow their lives along with what horrors a medical college cast upon already worked up medicine students. Characters are uni-dimensional and seem mechanical in their operational behavior.

It would be unfair to expect high-quality art or magnificent screenplay out of the show, but it can be rated high on fatuous entertainment. Afterall, isn't that all a target viewer is looking for anyway? Some goofy distraction to get a little giggle here and there and an 'aw' moment every once in a while.

Medically Yourrs is an Indian drama web series by ALT Balaji. It is a teen drama set in a medical college depicting the chaotic life of students. The good thing is that the college life portrayed is realistic and not exaggerated to bollywood level. The is decent but does not really have any momentum. You will be interested in the first two episodes and then after that it's a dismayed event. Apart from Shantanu Maheshwari's character none of the cast have anything remotely important to do. Watch this at your own risk.

Medically Yourrs brings a whiff of fresh air in the world of repetitive college romances. Pursuing a career that you don’t want to can be quite frustrating and difficult. So is the life of the male protagonist, who sidelines his own wishes just to please his family and thus, pursues an MBBS degree. It shows how students are ready to put their studies ahead of their own happiness or health. And quite, unfortunately, this is the reality of the students in this era. I became a fan of the show for its unpredictability. The characters have their own flaws, their own set of problems. It touches its own set of delicate issues which portrays the reality of today’s time. It can be streamed on Alt Balaji.

It has got different layers of stories which actually makes the viewers get to know about the real struggles of all the MBBS Students. Viewers of the type who love to watch some entertaining web series that reveals the real struggle along with some funny scripts then this web series is for them to go for and have a look. Medically yourrs is a web series that banks on the goodwill audiences have for medical dramas such as Sanjeevani and Dill Mill gayye is not similar to them and is better for it. The new offering on ALT Balaji shows us the world of a group of medical students at KIMS- a top medical institution in Kolkata, while a few of the students came here to find their Kim kardashian, they find their exact opposites who don't bother to even Take bath in order to save time for studies. Medically yourrs is neither over the top romance not has any song and dance to take the attention of the studies lot. The makers don't make too complicated instead it focuses on the tough lives of the students who take their work health for granted in order to become a doctor.

Medically Yourrs has a nice plot. I liked all the characters shown in the web series. The chemistry between Abir and Nibedita is great. The life of a medical student is beautifully portrayed. Shantanu Maheshwari did and amazing job with his character and everyone else also played their part really well. It will bring out the college memory of medical student, the struggles they faced. Abir doesn’t want to be a doctor because of family pressure he had to choose MBBS. Nibedita is his childhood friend who likes Abir from childhood. How some institution only focus on their reputation and not on student’s development is shown in the series. The last episode ended in a suspense, hope the next season will be more amazing than the first one.

The concept of the web series is good!
We all watched and heard about the problems faced by engineers but we never got a chance to watch the life of the MBBS students!
Adult scenes and smoking scenes are acted by the characters very boldly!
The storytelling way was good and suspense at the end make us want for next season.
Sometimes it feels addicted to the characters in the series. Especially Abir and Nibe performances are good.
Some characters can be seen in our day to day life!
The difference between reality and expectation brings humour!

Medically Yourrs is centred around the lives of MBBS students in the prestigious medical institute KIMS . Unlike the romanticized medical dramas India has seen in the past, Medically Yourrs brings out a realistic image of the pressures and obstacles a medical student has to face in an interestingly quirky and a fun to watch manner. The main character Abir Basu is an accurate reflection of a person whose passion lies in an unconventional career (in Abir’s case, music) but has to follow a path set by his parents and follow their legacy, something that frequently happens with our youth, and in his journey is constantly compared to his best friend Nibedita, who is the perfect student. Nibeta is also a typical reflection of a hardworking medical student who doesn’t mind keeping her health aside to make way for her studies, something that a lot of medical students do to emerge victorious in this tough competition. It shows the medical field for what it really is – the survival of the fittest. While the show has its share of a few plot holes and a season ending not perceived positively by many, it’s a series that will definitely tug at your heartstrings and has a bright future ahead.

The story line was nice. I like all the characters . Abir played his character well. Nibe character was bit undefined in the begnining but it covered by the ending . The story end with the suspense. Just waiting for the next season
