Marriage Story (2019)

Amazing and beautiful in every way. The look, the feel, the emotion, this is a great movie. It delivers the whole marriage and divorce thing in a way that doesn't feel tacky, or overused. The film looks soo gorgeous in almost every frame. The acting here is just as brilliant Adam Driver, and Scarlet Johansson being the highlights of the movie, those one on one scenes were just amazing. What else can you say about this movie than amazing? Nothing.

Marriage story a Drama portrays the harsh but real circumstances married couples go through when they decide to go their seperate ways.

Nicole and Charlie the main protagonist have lived their lives in New York ever since Nicole broke off her engagement to be with Charlie. They have an eight year old son Henry, who they do the best for to make ends meet. Being a couple working in the field of arts, Charlie is the director for the theatrical show Nicole acts in. Soon enough they realise they are not meant for each other, after numerous unresolved issues, and going at each other's throats they decide to get a Divorce. With the sudden changes in their lives, Nicole moves to LA with her son, while her husband visits Henry when he's not occupied with his upcoming Broadway show. With lawyers involved and huge sums of money lost, will circumstances make or break them.

The fact that this movie doesn't promise happy endings and tends to show that even well educated, good people can sometimes turn unharmonious when time demand it. When simple words are treated as threats and a small action as a great debt to be paid it's hard to find reasons for being with that individual in the first place. This movie is an absolute delight, as the acting and emotions of the actors are so raw and dialogues thought provoking, it undoubtedly bound to move you.
