Ad film-maker Vinil Mathew has churned out a beautiful rom-com with a simple story and lots of hullabaloo of an inter-caste marriage. A love-story of oddballs! Two families,at loggerheads with their ethics and ideals, are getting ready for a big wedding ceremony where the groom seems really lost in the commotion,unable to heave a sigh of relief amid everything-the arrangements,the demands of the fiancee,the eccentric family members and the super-eccentric sister-in-law, Mita! Whereas, Mita is a promising young talent,who is the Sheldon Cooper whom others find impossible to understand! The problem lies with Mita's behavior- she is eccentric,rash and unapologetic. But Nikhil,the groom finds solace in this freewheeling soul. They fall in love! They embark on a journey which is equally rash and eccentric as they are. This forms the heart of the movie.
The concept is unique,very suitably molded into the format of a rom-com. What make sthe film stand out is music and performance. Parineeti and Sidhharth deliver brilliant,unforgettable performances. And The beautiful 'Zehnaseeb' will keep ringing in your ears, long after you have finished watching the movie. What is special about the movie is the final feeling of exultation,where we'll have tears in our eyes and smile on our lips.

A #hilarious #cute And #romcom movie that has a nice twist. Not your average romantic comedy. This movie has something serious on it's mind yet remaining swift and flick throughout. Siddarth kapoor and Paris is did amazing work in movie. The romance is refreshing, uplifting and empathetic.

Absolutely adorable romance. Parineeti is Meeta, a girl who frankly I think is supposed to be on the spectrum. Nikhil (Sidarth) sees her running away from a family wedding and seven years later encounters her again when his fiance Karishma asks him to find housing for her "guest". She doesn't tell him the guest is her runaway sister that she's trying to keep away from her family and parents.

Meeta is quirky and has a habit of staring unblinkingly when she's talking to someone. Parineeti pulls off making Meeta totally lovable, and she sees through to Nikhil's unhappiness with Karishma and with the demanding job he does, all to try to keep Karishma happy. But Karishma keeps breaking up with Nikhil at the drop of a hat, and has been doing so about once a month for seven years.

I found Sidarth utterly charming as Nikhil. He actually smiles, rather than brooding and pining as he does for the most part in SOTY and Ek Villain. He has a few nice dance numbers, too. The music is decent, even if I'm not going to run to download the whole soundtrack.

Really liked this film, and the jodi of Parineeti with Sidarth.

Hasee toh Phasee is how modern Bollywood has become. Featuring Sidharth Malhotra an event planner and Parineeti Chopra an eccentric person as well as Sidharth's fiance's sister, this movie is set in Mumbai high society class, and I'd say it did pretty well with the screenplay. With light jokes, humor and romance boiling between those two as they went through things together , well, it seems cute. Bollywood touch and hint of predictability is what this movie is all about. I think they did a pretty good job, which makes this a one time watch.
