A lot of things have been said about this fantastic movie, and I only hope to add a few more praises.

The fact that it was written by Ben and Matt was a shock to me, I did not expect any strong writing and a solid script, but boy was I wrong. The movie lasts for 2 hours,and every minute of it I couldn't even focus on anything beside the incredible world of Will Hunting.

Matt plays Will Hunting, who is a brilliant young man who denies his unreal intellect. Will has had a very abusive childhood which hurt him mentally to a point where he can no longer let anyone close to him aside from his best friend who is played by Ben. That is until a professor at one of the top colleges finds Will's talent and helps him out of trouble with the law. Robin Williams later comes in as a therapist to Will, he is the only one who can really stand up to Will's intellect and manages to break the layer of distrust that Will has developed over years of solitude, and the two develop a bond beyond friendship.

Yes there is a girl, but this is not a romantic movie. There is more to life then what we are taught and what we have to show for it.

The writing is witty, brilliant and hilarious at times, both Matt and Robin Williams preform wonderfully from both a comedic and theatrical prospective. Matt's best work since Dogma and Williams best along side Dead Poet's Society.

If your looking for a typical Hollywood movie with a Hollywood ending, then do not bother spending two hours on this movie. # #bestOfDrama #

This movie is about knowing that being a genius and having wisdom is two different things. The movie is one of the best movies i ever saw. I'll stand by my words because here, the protagonist - Matt Damon is a born-genius. His life changes once he meets Robin Williams. This movie has so many layers. You'll find it so alluring right from the start. Excellent script written by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon. Best screenplay. good choice of dialogues, beautiful background music tracks. You'll be surely motivated by this movie.

It is hard to try and not spoil a movie this great. This is a must watch movie for people who are both, stuck somewhere in life and doing well as it will provoke such thoughts and ideas that have been either buried for year or are being ignored.

This is a classic movie starring Matt Damon, Robin Williams and Ben and Casey Affleck, who was almost ignored despite his fine acting. Now the reason why you might find some elements of this movie transparent while they fly by are the story and the intensity with which the actors have performed it. This movie has one of the best improvised scenes of history where Robin Williams changes the protagonist's life. This work of art shall definitely inspire you to chase what you want to do with your life; where your true passion lies.

One last reason to watch this classic is that this was written by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon while Robin Williams won an Oscar award for best actor in a supporting role.
A movie holding such different colors that it still manages a beautiful tail-end.

Matt Damon and Ben Affleck co-created this wonderful story for which they have been awarded an Academy award and rightly so! And for those fans of Robin Williams who are satisfied with 'Dead Poets Society' and 'Good Morning,Vietnam', you CANNOT afford to miss this film. Williams earned his much deserved Academy award(in a supporting role) for this film. Good Will Hunting is a film that has inspired and touched the most sensitive corners of the introverts. Introverts,who nurture an agony which torment them,and make them flee from any good development in their world- they are unable to unshackle themselves from a bitter past and kill themselves little by little with their own anxiety.
Within the campus of MIT lives an anonymous genius who solves the toughest math problems within an hour! Professor Lambeau(Stellan), a Fields medal winner is astounded to find that the genius is a native sweeper,a young boy named Will Hunting(Damon)- a self-taught prodigy,with eidetic memory. Lambeau takes Will under his wings and embarks on a mission to make Will follow his legacy,bear his stamp! Will Hunting,on the other hand , is shown to be a conscious of his abilities and quite proud of his originality! He hates to be tamed. With a sordid past lurking beneath,he fails to grasp the good in his life,and shoves away the beautiful Skylar who is helplessly in love with him. His recklessness and rash,unkempt behavior provokes Lambeau to assign a shrink to bring Will back to moderate ways of life. It is after several sabotaged appointments,that Will meets Sean Maguire(Williams) who completely changes Will's perspective and his understanding of life.
The inspiring words that Maguire has been given to orate are indeed inspiring and bear so much meaning within their simplicity. Worth a watch! For it will change how we value our life! It will change our idea of loss!
