Yeh...What a movie. Loved it. Stupid as hell but I loved it. Watch it in IMAX was such a treat! Visually its so stunning and engaging. The fights are so bombastic and exiting. The music is loud, and thrilling and it gives the audience what they were looking for. But. Those pros are also the films cons. First, we start the movie with one of the monsters. Which makes no sense to me, you don't get any anticipation or excitement to see the monsters. Then after that we get a bunch of historical mambo jumbo that is never talked about again acting as the background for the opening credits. Second is probably the main problem with monster movies. The human characters. We get introduced to characters from the previse film and are meant to give us an emotional connection but don't. The dad of Millie Bobby Brown's character is only there for probably 5 mins. And bobby brown her self is only a background character. Speaking of characters we have the girl that can communicate with Kong. We barely get any exposition on here. None. Or on how Kong can communicate with her. Then there's the action, which is HELLA fun to watch. But gets too bombastic sometimes to the point where all you hear are just monster growls and massive 808 bass with strings. Plot points just come out of nowhere then disappear. Characters that seem important just die. And it has such a unsatisfying ending with an 80's pop song. There is so much more but damm do I LOVE this movie for that and the cheesy yet funny acting by Brian Tyree Henry, & Julian Dennison. imma be generous. Solid 7/10

I think it is strictly IMAX material. I watched it on TV, as theaters are not open yet in India. I got bored. I can only image how action sequence would have looked in IMAX.

Godzilla vs Kong
I wasn't sure what to expect when I sat down on my couch to watch Godzilla vs Kong but I know I wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I did. This film was so entertaining and engrossing its everything you could want from a film like this, Massive and epic cgi battles and human subplots that aren't boring. I loved it and I cant wait to watch it again with my family.
