Gandii Baat is an Indian erotic drama series by ALT Balaji. It consists of standalone episodes each featuring stories from rural India and how the the intimate relations are different from those of urban India. The show goes all out in depicting sex and is as raw as it gets, no holds barred. In a way, they showcase the reality of society and discusses taboos which are frowned upon. The acting is pretty mediocre and there is really nothing which makes the show interesting except if you want to see soft porn.

Well on the basis of, that instead of bold hot scenes it also has some story and it doesnt fear to show about lgbt comminuty and therefore it definitely deserves 4 star

This show, unlike any other Alt Balaji's asinine titles, comes with some actual artistic values and barely passable storylines. The show presents ideas of sexual and emotional struggles.

Each episode is based around consequences of emotional repression and stigmatization of sex. Focus is on characters based in small rural towns, and themes dealt by the show range anywhere from concealing sexual orientation to breaking free of forced marriages. Writing is mediocre, so is the direction but some good performances can be found here and there.

Fortunately, the erotic scenes are not a complete disaster and the show remains consistent to the theme. Each plot-line is different but grapples with way too many ideas at once. Watch at your own discretion.

Gandii Baat Season 2 is an anthology of quick-fire, twisted tales of lust, love and everything in between. The four episode mini-series is moulded in the ways of the soft-core stories that are a part of every adolescent’s growing up years. Only this time, the stories are a bit female-centric and that’s what adds to the flavour.
Ekta Kapoor and her team of minds dole out a hedonistic, absurd, nonsensical, sex toned story which is more bizarre than arousing.Replete with crudity, sexual innuendos and misogynistic scenes, Gandii Baat attempts to be a rebel content, delving into ‘you cannot mention’ topics but sadly, it puts its faith too much on sex than the ‘real’ stories of small town. Apart from fantasies and fanaticism, the narrative could have been more evocative, depicting varied nuances of the characters in play.
Gandii Baat doesn’t rise above the clinical, it skims the surface and what could have been gritty and grim, ends up being loutish.The idea is interesting, making a concoction of India and Bharat, the two worlds stirred with lust and lascivious, often propelling sinister ambitions.
Performances are loud and over the top, and blend with the stories. Characters look more urbane than rural. The background score with sex sounds find inspiration from soft porn and the overall treatment and feel has a Kashyap like ‘Wasseypur’ feel.
If you have nothing else to do on a certain evening then enjoy a brainless entertainment like Gandii Baat. Watch it at your own risk.

I am pretty sure this rural India exist only in Ekta Kapoor's fantasy land. The stories doesn't make much sense and couple of scene are ridiculous but these for sure looks better than Vikram Bhatt's sexual thrillers. Its some time hard to believe that its an Indian web-series show.

Sachin Mohite of Savdhaan India fame has directed the show. The cast includes Anant Joshi, Narayani Shastri, Vikas Verma, Neetha Shetty, Rohit Choudhary and Rajesh Tripathi.
