A psychological thriller that lacks the thrill
If the show could match up to the standards of its description, it would have delivered an astounding experience, but it is yet another disappointment that claims ingenuity but screams mediocrity. It tries to dwell into dark, obscure corners of the human brain and reflect on the possibility of lives turning into dystopian nightmares if morals and rationale cease to exist. While that seems bad-ass, the attempt miserably falls face-first into failure.

From life-altering superstitions to traumatizing bullying, while 'Flip' does have some interesting ideas, they, however, are eclipsed by loosely held execution that fails to make any impact. The first episode, about a real-life hunting game, where participants kill human targets brought to an isolated island from mental institutions is actually as exhilarating as it sounds, but the subsequent episodes have weak plots and a godspeed deterioration in quality.

Except for the first episode, the rest of the series is neither dark nor compelling. That being said, there is still an attempt at crafting something irregular which cannot be overlooked.

Comprising a total of four stores- The Hunt, Bully, Massage and Happy Birthdays, this series offers itself as an intriguing thriller to the audiences. Compared with the famous TV series Black Mirror, Flip too is engaging, unique, intriguing, and dark. Starring some of the big names like Ranvir Shorey, Jim Sarbh, Shweta Gulati and Arjun Mathur among others, it's a offers you an interesting premise that may not suit your tastes and senses if you don't have a thing for inane plots and flawed characters. Overall, it's is an interesting watch, sure, not as good as their western counterparts.

Though I am a big big fan of Jim Sarbh I can't be biased. This series though started off well wasn't impactful enough. It was really #boring and #pointless at the same time. This series is just of 4 episodes comprises of the life and situations faced by different people. Its really very much horrid and #weird and that's why wasn't much appreciated among its viewers. But if we look at the acting perspective, we can notice the hard work of the actors to extreme levels. Arjun Mathur , Ranvir Shorey, Jim Sarbh and Shweta Gulati played their roles really well

Thrilling!
Flip is an Indian thriller web series by Eros Now. Created by Bejoy Nambiar, it deals with the darkest fears of human beings. The series gives out a very Black Mirror vibe, the dystopian worlds, innocent people who aren't innocent. Nambiar does an excellent job at bringing the characters to life but unfortunately the they are let down by the writing. The plot twists which are supposed to be the big reveals aren't that shocking. It is refreshing to see an Indian series with such power though the makers need to improve on the plot.

The anthology consists of four stories, and all four talk about one small incident that changes the course of life for the characters. The stories are fresh, interesting and novel. Basically, the series works on the concept that’s a benchmark of fiction – one incident can change your life. This concept is an integral part of the DC legacy and the Joker’s storyline – and an entire film in the franchise was set up on this premise.
The four main characters of our stories- the ones who are affected- Sheetal Menon, Ranvir Shorey, Jim Sarbh, and Arjun Mathur are spectacular, a vision, in their respective roles. They portray the two opposing ends of a personality with such perfection and candour, making the characters alive in the story and through the screen. The supporting characters are equally, if not more so, important as they are the ones who push these four heroes, or villains, to and over the brink.
Flip not only has a good story, but also brilliant execution. The visuals and background music are perfectly synced with each plotline, from the beginning to the end. Flip justifies its title to the fullest, delivering stories that are as crazy, weird and mind-flipping as they can get.
Apart from the fact that it seems to be over too soon, there’s nothing stopping you from watching this series. Definitely, definitely worth a watch.
