Everest (2015)

Treat for some but lacks cinema
The movie is based on true events, so expect no drama. The movie is a treat for mountaineering/trek lovers but it lacks the element of cinema. “Because it’s there” works as a mountaineering philosophy – but cinema can’t settle for that.
The effects are amazing though. If you are not planning to climb Everest in this life, this the best you can experience what its like to be there.

May be..what I meant is if trek is your thing then #spineChilling else its #skippable. It tend to be on documentary side then on cinema is what i felt.

Everest- you beauty
My eye just pops out when I see the Mt. Everest. For the most of us who will never climb the Everest, the movie gives us an experience of being amidst the mountain (watch it in IMAX, mind it!) The story is really compelling and is based on a real life event from 1996, let me not spill the beans for you regarding the story-line. "Never Let Go" Rarely do movies inspire me, but this one did.

On the morning of May 10, 1996, climbers (Jason Clarke, Josh Brolin) from two expeditions start their final ascent toward the summit of Mount Everest, the highest point on Earth. With little warning, a violent storm strikes the mountain, engulfing the adventurers in one of the fiercest blizzards ever encountered by man. Challenged by the harshest conditions imaginable, the teams must endure blistering winds and freezing temperatures in an epic battle to survive against nearly impossible odds.
