That's not how any of it works
Pretty true to its title, the show is precisely about the adventurous journey of gals in a male-dominated engineering college. The show follows the lives of three friends a brave and fierce Tejaswini a.k.a. Sabu (Barkha Singh), a dreamer Kiara (Sejal Kumar) and a gullible bookworm Meghna Mishra a.k.a. Maggu (Kritika Avasthi). Most of their troubles and struggles are made up, superficial and annoying. To be fair, it's a light-hearted entertainer but lack of any real consequences for the characters' actions and a fairytale end to all chapters is a tad too much to accept unconditionally.

No engineering college works the way it seem to in the show, stories aren't true to life at all and seem artificial. Performances are pretty average too and so is the writing and the direction. Nothing in the show really stands out except for an 'Aww' moment every once a while. Comedy isn't strong, neither is drama. Characters are poorly developed, and confined to just one personality trait.

It's a mediocre production at best and can't be recommend to anyone with a taste for a fine screenplay. Make of it as a mindless, feel-good entertainer.

The cast that includes some of the famous online talents like Barkha Singh, Sejal Kumar and Kitika Awasthi, the story that revolves around the life of 'girl students' in an engineering college, the show is entertaining and funny. Instead of a male perspective to the struggles of an engineering college life, the show offers us with the point of view of girls about their quirky, entertains lives, their struggles in relationships and the demanding college life. A great watch!

Engineering Girls is an Indian comedy web series by The Timeliners. It feels refreshing to see a series made on engineering college life from girls' point of view. It has been a stereotypical that if it'sabout engineering, the protagonists will be boys and this series shatters that stereotype. The characters are too predictable and one dimensional, they don't really offer anything to the show. The writing too is very straightforward and there is nothing new which will surprise you. However it has it's moments, you will like the friendship between the protagonists and root for them. In a nutshell, the show can only be described as sweet, nothing more. Save your time and skip this one.

The 5 episode web-series tells the story of three feisty girls, Teja, Maggu, and Sabu, as they navigate the halls & hostels of their engineering college.
Written by Jasdeep ‘Sardarboy’ Singh and Prakriti Kargeti, ‘Engineering Girls’ is a fresh take on the engineering hostel experience. Featuring three of the most popular young online talents, Barkha Singh, Sejal Kumar and Kritika Avasthi, the show follows the misadventures of three women who want to leave a mark on the world, despite the odds. Through five episodes, the trio chases their dreams of finding love & starting their own company, while being a part of the drama club and trying to submit their practical files on time.
The Timeliners’ tie-up with Sharada University will be something that will encourage the students to watch the series as well.
The only negative factor about this series is that it has left us asking for more episodes, as soon as possible.
This 5-episode series will definitely leave not just the girls, but also all the boys to relive their own college days and take everyone on a trip to the land of nostalgia.

Bitter sweet story of three engineering college friends, with Sharda University as the backdrop. Three friends, Sabu, Maggu and Kiara become best of friends in their college. Through five episodes, the web-series portrays the journey of the trio trying to chase their dreams and aspirations, and finding their way to what they love to do or they want to get involved in- be it a start up, or being a part of the drama society or passing semester examinations with good marks and able to find a job, before family forces them to get married.
The story of Sabu, Maggu and Kiara inspires the youth of our generation and deals with day-to-day struggles in the life of college students and hostelmates. This story helps us relive the college life, once again, and would make people nostalgic about their college lives.
Specially the youth would find this story and their daily struggles quite relatable. It deals with the bond that college friends share with each other, the strictness with which the professors deal with their students. It also portrays fighting over trifle issues with the friends, standing by them and helping them out, whenever they need you.
The cast- Sejal Kumar, Barkha Singh and Kritika Avasthi have done a great job and perfectly portrayed the characters of Kiara, Sabu and Maggu, respectively. Their portrayal of friendship, in this story, is something that is truely cherishable.

“Dil mein yaad rakhungi tum sab jhallio ko, Aur tumhari dosti.”
A beautiful line that summarizes the bond of friendship, no matter the gender. Engineering Girls is all about friendship, the trials and tribulations associated with it but, moreover, the feeling of content that it involves.
Engineering colleges have always been a part of so many series, memes and other viral content but they have always had male protagonists to tell their stories. This is not the case here. Engineering Girls brings about a revolution (I may be exaggerating a bit). Hearing three girls tell their stories of being in an engineering college is refreshing and hopefully, an eye opener to all those people who think we have not had fun in our engineering days.
