One takes an instant liking to Princess Merida.Her bubbly,chirpy and headstrong nature and her penchant for breaking rules makes her different from the typical fairy-tale princesses.When her mother Elinor decides to get her married,it further strains the mother-daughter relationship and rebelling against her decision,Merida wins her own hand in the archery contest.To change her mother's mind,she requests the witch for a spell but accidently,her mother is changed into a bear.The movie revolves around Merida trying to transform her mother back into a human against all odds,thereby strengthening their bond and that is the high point of the film.This time along,Disney gives you something to take back home -that family matters.
