Sweet and Good
A web-series which portrays the sweet friendship that exists between two flatmates, Nikhat Rizvi and Ray Madhav, and also their struggle to fulfill their responsibilities, as independent women, in the hustle and bustle of the fast-paced city Mumbai. They take up different tasks in their day-to-day lives and tries to complete them, before the deadline. It also portrays how friends become family, and how possessiveness in them makes their bond stronger. Their daily struggles in their lives are quite relatable, which makes it easier for the young generation to connect easily to them, and the story, in general. In other words, it is a bitter sweet comedy, with the underlying concept of friendship, as the backdrop.

Lenora reviewed Adulting
Adulting is tough. But these girls teach you how.
This series portrays what happens when you live with a roommate in a new city in the cutest possible way! It is more than just a feel good series when you can relate to majority scenarios in it. It tells you in a bittersweet way that we're all here failing miserably at adulting.

Adulting is about two girls going through newly achieved adulthood , trying to overcome the helter-skelter of Mumbai. At least that's what they intended it to be. The show falls flat on face for not showing what the characters are telling. the opening credit scene is as gloomy as the apartment of the lead girls. if you don't put much mind to it , you will find the show cute and colorful but with your medulla oblongata in your head the characters are so fictional. Both the characters are felt alike and talks in the same mushy way as the writer didn't put much consideration in creating them. The premises of the show totally don't support the intentions. But still it is funny at places and a one time watch. these kinda shows are in bulk on Youtube.

Ray and Nikhat are two flat sharing mates. The episode starts with two returning from a Justin Bieber concert in the evening, and cribbing about how bad it was. The next day turns out to be Nikhat’s birthday and she is broke. Ray realizes that she also doesn’t have much to spend to make the day special for Nikhat. While the duo head to their respective offices, Ray is trying hard to come up with a celebration plan with her limited bank balance.

And what happens is best described by this quote: The good thing about hitting rock bottom is that it can’t get any worse. Ray manages to have a great evening for Nikhat.

What’s WOW? The episode brings out the flat mate camaraderie quite well. Anyone who has stayed away from home, with roommates, flat mates will get to relive the moments with Adulting.

uniquely entertaining
This entire show is about two girls [Nikkhat and Ray} experiencing the world adulthood and surviving through it . In a city like Mumbai it is obvious to face difficulty in finding house and coping up with budget especially with rising expense. The duo yet manages to survive and makes complete effort in finding happiness in the very small things of life. In the first episode ray forgets Nikkhats birthday and she is broke as well but somehow she manages to throw a budget friendly party for her.
The writers have highlighted the kind of lifestyle with which the youth can connect and that leads to the character development and some good plot, each episodes focuses on these two millennial and their struggles like searching for a new house, Instagram followers and job dissatisfaction. The writers have highlighted the hippiness of the girls [ as one of the episode was BROKE AF] and their lack of this new world of adulthood. at some places though I felt they went a little overboard with the set design as the apartment they chose looked way to spacious, comfortable and unaffordable to girls who have just started working also in the first episode they talk about attending Justin Bieber's concert from their own money seemed a little unrealistic for millennial who just started working in a city like Mumbai knowing the fact that those tickets cost over 75k each but then this was overshadowed by the fact that they were broke after that. Some of the things were a little impractical while some simply blended with storyline.
Overall the direction was pretty good and so was the script dialogs could have been a little more humorous acting was on point. It is a mustwatch webseries.

Cute, easy-go-lucky
This is an aesthetically well-designed, cute web series. With no particular aim or twists, the story flows with a pop culture setting. Special shout-out to Yasaswini Dayama who plays Ray! The series starts out with the duo from struggling to manage their expenses to settling in their jobs. However, I felt that the episode 3 (Friends ya followers) was very much out of place and exaggerated. Though it did convey one's over-attention towards social media than real life, it was overdone. Overall, it is a delight to watch and can't wait for season 2!

The series 'Adulting' brings to you the struggles of Nikhat and Ray, flatmates and best friends, who newly became independent. #sweet It's put forward in the most relatable and honest way that you will easily be able to connect to their lifes as if your own. #bitterSweet But don't think it to be too serious, because it also is just the perfect amount of hilarious! #hilarious
The role of Nikhat is played by Aisha Ahmed and Ray is played by Yashaswini Dayama. They have played the roles so well, and definitely gave the characters their full justification. #feelGood
