The Last Thing He Wanted (2020)

The Last thing he wanted comes off as a thriller with the bold Anne Hathaway who plays Elena McMahon the films protagonist.

Elena is portrayed to be a hard-working and fearless journalist who works for a newspaper "The Atlantic Post." She starts to reasearch on the connection between the United States and Nicaraguan Rebel group. She goes out into the world trying to fullfill her father's dying wish who was a dealer of Arms. Soon upon investigation she learns that she's been trying to uncover the same path that she's on now for a long time.

This was the most boring movie I've watched. Not because the storyline was "predictable" or "not unique." It left me brain dead. It felt like the writers grabbed some concepts and just used big words to tie up the story together. The whole movie is problematic and by the end there is 1% sense to the whole movie. There is no information on what happened to the arms deal? Why did she abandon her "payment?" Was the investigation pointless?Felt like the writers got lazy, then started scribbling gibbering and then by the end said "it is what it is." Definely not worth a watch
