The background tune will get struck in your mind for times to come and Mr. Tiwari is the best thing that’s ever happened to TVF! Period!
Each episode is layered with peppy subplots, comical dialogues, terrific screenplay and the best part: the iconic supporting cast. You will be glued to reach the end. It silently challenges almost all love stories ever made, with the aid of a very genuine Indian backdrop. Watch this one if you are young, old, married, single, complicated... It’s a treat for all.
A couple with long distance relationship moving into the realm of live-in and finally getting married is what forms the plotline of this web series. Permanent Roommates is the roller-coaster tale of love-hate relationship of Mikesh and Tanya. It is anything but a typical romance drama. A first of its kind. You will want to believe and fall in love all over after watching this sweet, simple and subtle story by TVF. #lovable #fresh #romance #lovehate #tvf #mustwatch #brilliant #relationships #love #livein #lovelife #honest

The show starts off well, with Mikesh who comes back to India and proposes to his long distance girlfriend Tanya for marriage. This begins their emotional journey that even threatens their relationship at one point in the show.
This show does well in all areas of creativity and execution and one can't help but fall in love with the lead actors, and relate to their emotional journey.
So relatable .
story is just heart touching story.

We love Mickey Bhaia
Yet another love story with the same old problems of family, wedding, babies, moving in and handling it all. This webseries has a been there, done that feel. But you know what, I will still watch it if a few more episodes are added there. The simple reason being it says the same story without making it at all boring. The twists and turns coming into the couple's life might not be too relatable but they are extremely fun to watch.

The best part about the show is Mikesh, or our very loving Micky bhaia, as referred to by his loyal broker/driver/companion Tiwari. Both these characters add to the funny element of the show. Mikesh is an extremely loving boyfriend, a bit stupid, a lot innocent and way way too adorable. Just like any other boyfriend, he is extremely polite to his girlfriend's family and is always making sure to have a good connection with them and he is a winner at it from the go.

Tanya is a regular girl who is just not sure about her extra caring boyfriend and the early marriage talks in the family and weighs in her options. She is just like one of is who is slightly lost sometimes.

Overall, it's one hell of a watch and one thing that this show never fails to do is keep it's viewers on their toes.

I've been following The Viral Fever (TVF) since last one year. I have watched all and rewatched many of their videos and eagerly wait for new content every week.
Recently they announced their first TVF originals drama feature, "Permanent Roommates", and I was hooked by the name itself.
The promo looked good too.

Especially the adorable simpleton Mikesh who also, along with supporting actors (especially Pathik and Purshottam) fill up this emotional journey with well timed humor that makes this show a delight to watch. Moreover this show is about Mikesh and Tanya and their relationship, no unnecessary hurdles by parents, caste, religion, society or similar sources.

While the length of the episodes range from 14 minutes (first episode) to 38 minutes (final episode), I'm glad they didn't restrict themselves to have uniform length episodes which may have forced them to compromise on the quality.

Did you notice the two rings interlocked into each other in the word "room" in the title?! That's pretty cool !! The opening sequence of this show is also quite good !!

There are just too many emotional and well timed comic moments that it would be unfair to talk about them here. Moreover, the proof of the pudding is in the eating, and this pudding is an absolute delicacy. I am no authority in show business, but being a lifelong ardent viewer of sitcoms and romcoms, I can vouch for Permanent Roommates as one such show you can re-watch and experience the same delight and warmness.

Strong points: The lead actors, the supporting actors, the direction, the script, the comic timing, the music, and leaving me wanting for more.
Weak points: Only 5 episodes!
Best moment: The video Nikesh makes for Tanya's birthday. There are many more though.

It does leave few questions in audience's mind, like will Mikesh and Tanya get married, and who is Tiwari?!

While I wish this show had come earlier, this is the best time for the inception of such a wonderful show, since TVF now has nearly a million followers on youtube, and such wonderful shows that they've promised to continue making in future, deserve large audience.

After watching Permanent Roommates, I am fully confident that TVF, who have given us top quality humor in the past, are well on their way to excel in other genres as well.

P.S. - Ended up watching all the 5 episodes again while writing this review. :) :)

A short, sweet& awesome treat!
This series is a happy break from the clichéd stuff. It depicts the modern society, broad-minded and reasonable people, within a simple story line. Basically, its easier to relate to this with the things happening around you. This show will make you think, but first, it will make you laugh. There isn't a dull moment. Moreover, its a punch packed in five short videos. What makes it better is awesome acting by each and everyone. Also, its easily available on YouTube. So here I have what I have been waiting for - Indian actors, Hindi language (has English subs too), a short and fast-paced series, and I ain't disappointed at all!!! I would totally recommend it. And I will be eagerly waiting for another series by this super team.
