This movie is schizophrenic! Watched the first half on SRK's birthday and finished it last night.

This is Juhi and SRK at the peak of their looks. They look fabulous, and the cuteness of their romance is off the charts. I adored the love story parts of this movie. Juhi flirting and getting Shahrukh all flustered and confuzzled is my total catnip. And Shahrukh being the adoptive uncle to 4 unruly kids was very fun to watch.

The action parts of the movie just were not the greatest. The cop story of the movie is in one way good in that Juhi was a badass undercover cop who could work magic by changing her hair and makeup in the blink of an eye. But it was all supremely confusing and the plot MADE NO SENSE.

Good casting having Jackie Shroff play the older cop partner. But the action scenes just seemed like hey how much glass CAN we shatter? How many people can jump or fall off buildings?

So after Javed (Shroff) dies, Shahrukh finds the clue in the notebook about the nightclub and decides the BEST course of action is to go there alone, get super drunk, be super obnoxious with everyone and make a huge scene? That's some awesome police work right there.

I normally love A R Rahman, but I did feel like musically this was a lesser movie score of his. The two main love songs were good, but not off the charts good, and the other songs. Meh. I'm scarred for life by the clown makeup one.

Not the best, I'm glad I own it just to rewatch the romance portions!!
