Manjhi: The Mountain Man (2015)

After Rang Rasiya, Ketan Mehta comes up with the mindblowing story of Dasrath Manjhi. Spellbound is the word for it. Nawaz excels in every frame. Radhika Apte is perfect as Manjhi's wife. Rural cinematography, crisp editing and the inspiring yet romantic story are enough to leave you teary-eyed. Award deserving movie.

Manjhi The mountain man movie is directed by Ketan Mehta,starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui & Radhika Apte.The movie is based on true story of Dashrath Manjhi.I must say it is nawazuddin's best work.
The story is about a man who lives in small village of bihar.His wife (radhika) falls off the mountain.He couldnot save her because of inaccessibility to hospital.It hurts manjhi alot.He takes oath that he will make road for people by carving the mountain so that they will get access to hospital of city.Initially people called him fool,nobody helped him.But it could not distract him.He faced lot of criticism and corruption but it never stopped him.There is one scene in movie where snake bites him and as he could not reach the hospital ,hence left to no option he cuts his toe.That was such an heart wrenching scene,it will literally give anyone goosebumps.After 22 years of hardwork he finally made the road through carving.Radhika Apte has done acting effortlessly.I must say she is one of the versatile actress bollywood has got.The dialogue and cinematography are beautiful.I would like to mention one of the inspirational dialogue-Bhagwan ke bharose mat baithiye, ka pata oo hamare bharose baitha ho!
In all it is a #mustWatch movie.#inspiring
