Kabeer Kaushik’s directorial debut Sehar is a story of an honest SSP Ajay Singh and his combat with organized crime. Its a cop drama made as intelligently as Sarfarosh. Its not about a protagonist on a crusade against criminals and uprooting them single handedly rather a realistic take at battle between police and criminals. Arshad warsi’s portrayal of the honest cop is going to leave you wondering how underused this man’s potential is by restricting him only to comedies.
